Colours - Old Town - Studios

The space in the unit. The view when windows were open. The courtyard. Great having a little mini-mart downstairs. Beautiful bowl of fruit left in fridge and a lot of bottled water. Property is very secure.

More information would have been appreciated. I didn't know there was a laundry downstairs belonging to the 2 studios. It also needs to be mentioned that if raining, all windows need to be closed, glass and timber. There is a very steep set of stairs from bottom to studios.

The location was perfect, around a 5 minute walk from Athanasios gate where a taxi can drop you, it’s around a 5 minute walk to the main old town and 15 minutes to the new town/port. The property was nicely decorated and the private terrace was a beautiful place to relax after a long day. There are also drying racks available on the terrace which was great for drying clothes after a beach day. The host Sevy was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay

Not necessarily negative points, but things we wish we knew before staying, we booked colours 2: - due to the age of the building, soundproofing is not expected, but there was a lot of noise from the street, from bikes and people etc, this, to a degree we expected. We were also woken up between 3-4am every day to the sound of bins and bottles being emptied which was very loud and when on for a while. - there is a skylight that faces the sunrise and the light shines right on the bed in the early morning, enough to wake you up. We messaged the host who was kind enough to provide us with eye masks to help with this - the toilet door is glass and only frosted half way up, if someone is in the kitchen area they are able to see you on the toilet, not particularly romantic. - there is no full length mirror in the room, one would have been appreciated - I found the bed to be a little too hard, although my partner has no real issues. This, coupled with the regular nightly disturbances didn’t allow for good quality sleep sadly

I do not believe you could get a better location if you are wanting to stay in the Old Town of Rhodes. The apartment is super spacious, clean and very comfortable. The shower room is something a little different that's for sure.

Nothing really, maybe the glass door into the toilet could do with the frosted glass going a little higher 😆

The property was stunning everything inside was combined from the centuries and we definitely felt we are sleeping in a castle!!!
