Stunning house, clean and modern - great for a group getaway

Slightly out the way from everything unless in a car, taxis are few and far between from Cockermouth so recommend prior booking

Exceptionally clean, loved the layout and it was very well equipped with everything you could need.

We liked the space as we had a family with us. It was very roomy. It was warm with very comfortable beds, lots of hot water and a huge television. We bought logs and had an open fire.

No one had changed the timer for the winter on the boiler so it was too hot at night and turned off just when you wanted it. So many visitors had messed with the programmer that we weren't quite sure when it would be warm. No big deal as we lit the fire The one big problem we had was regarding the TV. A previous visitor had logged into their account on prime and the search history was all porn films. Very worrying with our two grandchildren with us. This should be checked by the cleaners or owner every changeover.

Fantastic high quality fixtures and fittings. Beautifully converted barn. Great location with the village pub a short walk away. 10 min drive and you're in the National Park.
