Comfortable and spacious. Good location for touring as we visited Pitlochry, Sterling and Dunkeld as well as many other beauty spots. The museum was very interesting, and the volunteers very knowledgeable and welcoming. The unit was clean and well equipped.
The view from the front of the Hut was across a car park into a fenced off area with industrial units, which was not clear from the information provided. Granted - the farther distance was the mountains, however the industrial units were quite noisy at times. (Daytime only). On arrival, we could not enter the unit straight away, as there was a workman there changing the locks. Had to wait further 45 minutes for them to finish. One of the blinds to the front of the unit was broken - so was permanently down.

Went here with my 12 year old son, place was perfect and very clean, area felt safe walking around, place has all essentials also tea and coffee well recommended.

Heating system is not clearly advertised. The radiators do not work and plug in heaters have to be used instead. This is a real problem when you arrive when its -4 outside.
