Dorigem Rooms

Tiene muy buenas vistas y el lugar el super tranquilo. El personal muy amable y el shop de vinos, aceite de oliva y miel es muy bueno.

La Tv que tiene el cuarto es muy pequeña, sería recomendable colocar una mas grande. Para almorzar o cenar no hay lugares cerca, hay que bajar hasta Pinhon

My husband and I were blown away by the view from our room and terrace. The terrace is really nice with a table and chairs and lounge chairs. No place was open to eat when we arrived and we didn't want to take the long winding road back down to Pinhao to eat so we had tapas from Dorigem (a charcuterie board). We ate them sitting outside on our terrace. We did a beautiful hike down to Pinhao the next morning. Spent the day there. Ran into people who recommended eating at The Bridge restaurant. So, thankful to them as it was delicious. After wandering around all day, we bought sandwiches and took a taxi back up. Enjoyed our sandwiches on the terrace for dinner. Breakfast was good. No kitchen there so no hot foods but plenty to eat to start the day.

I had read about the bad route to get up to Casal de Loivos but guess I did not find the correct info to go up the other way. I didn't enjoy that scary drive we took to Dorigem Rooms. But that is no fault of the property. When we took the taxi back up, we found out the good route. So, were able to go that way when we left.

Great location with spectacular views down valley towards Pinhao..breathtaking with a glass of their wine for sunset.

During the day noisy tour vehicle movements bringing customers to the on-site wine tastings and parking their vans below our terrace .. often being left unattended with engine running for their air-con!
