Excellent location which seems well maintained but in an old building A little noisy and I never got the internet to work correctly, but overall a nice place to be conveniently located for sight seeing in Florence

The hotel is perfect for access to rail station. The neighborhood is dirty, no amenities at the hotel, mosquitos in the room, no daily service and no second roll of toilet paper available. The access to restaurants was good and the management responded fairly quickly to requests. Definitely a two star hotel.

A very nice "on the budget" option that is close to both the train stations and all the major attractions. The staff is nice and generally responsive. The only problem we had was related to the general condition of the property. While the room itself was clean, there was a terrible smell coming from the shower stall (which was masked initially by a huge amount of air freshener spray). When we informed the staff of this problem, they called a plumber, who said the said it was a major problem which could not be fixed in one visit. So they moved us to another room, which was great except there was no drainage in the shower - we could not have the water running for more than a minute, otherwise we would flood the bathroom and the neighbors downstairs. The staff did not respond to our requests to fix the problem (it was a weekend, so I am guessing they were off duty). Other than that, it was a nice and very convenient place to stay.

The room itself was plain & simple but adequate for a short stay. The bathroom would have been fine if the shower drained away more quickly. After a short time the shallow tray overflowed. The staff we saw were pleasant to deal with but the check in system is not very customer friendly. We were given the wrong telephone number to phone for entry when the reception was closed.

Nice room in comfortable position. Cleaning and Maintainance could be improved. However, it is not really an hotel but an airbnb. The reception is never open. And the whole checkin/checkout process is confusing. I did not like that the check in was done through whatsapp.....

The location, access service and communication was good, but the room had a terrible smell specially in the bathroom that we almost threw up. The building also smell bad, if you are okay with that then you can stay there. I wished they had air freshener inside the bathroom to aliviate the smell.

Unfortunately very bad service...didn't get any info on how to get to our room. Had to call a number when we arrived to find out information. Then we got instructions by mail and room number and it turned out that room was occupied. The whole process from the time we arrived until we got the right room took 2 hours. As we only had one night in Florence it was time we lost that we really wanted to enjoy in the city... I explained how we felt about the check in struggle to the hotel and they said they couldn't make up for this inconvenience even though they made us wait so long

I really hate to give a bad review of this place bacause the staff is very kind and helpful. But it is a health hazard. There is black mold in the walls and it smells awful. I have been to places that has a bit of mold, it easily happens in humid climates. But this was too much. And unfortunately they do not clean properly. Red mold in the shower could be easily removed, but they had not bothered, so I can just imagine what else they do not clean. The towels smell. They really need service on the heaters as well. They seem to be spewing something else. The checkin was fine for us, you just need to read the instructions. And the staff is helpful and kind.

Nice personal and location but the room appears to be quite old, with also so insulation, from inside and outside the room. This includes for instance a single glass window, very difficult to close and that let all the noise form outside enter the room (fortunately the street is quite calm during night time). The towels were also not really clean and the masters quite old.

Hair on the bed , we couldn't find reception as no instruction where it was. They sent an email asking what time we are going to arrive when we checked in already. After check-out ask to send our passport copy. Weird.... it is like AiRBNB , self check in ....

The room is clean and very Tuscan. It’s about a 6 minute walk from the train station which can be very convenient if travelling out. It’s about 2 minutes to the Arno River in a safe area and across the street from the best little bakery in Florence. Self check in was easy and smooth. We arrived later than the official check in but let them know. It was no problem and super easy

I genuinely hated staying at this hotel. Here is everything wrong with it: 1. You enter a dark and creepy building that smells musty and unclean. If you inconvenience them by checking in after 6 pm, you are charged 30 euros which makes no sense since there is no reception. 2. The hotel room smelled quite musty which meant that we had to keep the windows open for the majority of the time that we stayed to keep the air flowing. The shower had quite a bit of mold or mildew on the walls and the small fridge had mold growing in it. Note that they do not do ANY cleaning at all while you are there regardless of the length of your stay. 3. The mattress was extremely old and likely purchased second hand. It was so old that there were two permanent big dips on either side where people have laid. It desperately needs to be replaced. 5. There is a wifi connection, but we were unable to access internet on it for the entirety of our stay. 6. The shower did not drain and the AC unit did not work at all. 7. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything going on in the street and in the hallway. 8. We brought our concerns to the management, but nothing was done to rectify any of it. The response was “I’m sorry to hear that.” Also, they charge €7 per person per night as city tax because they are a ‘historical’ building. Watch out for this. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else. There are much nicer and cleaner places in the city for the same price.
