No breakfast but coastal cafe across the street was great
Inside the huts was clean and adequate bedding
Heard the neighbours late at night
The walls are paper thin, we can hear everything and the 10 pm quiet time is not enforced
Our hut was behind the office, the exhaust was noisy all night from that opposing bldg
Smelled smoke from neighbours sitting on their patio early morning. No enforcement at all
Bathrooms were gross after use from others
Moldy bldg and water overflowing from plugged drains

Great location. Super clean. Full kitchen with all facilities including coffee maker. Netflix. Spacious. Close to Port Renfrew pub, which served us great food and local ales.
It's an old hut that's been renovated a few times so there's uneven floors. Bunk beds (and ladders) need a bit of care manouvering in and out and around, but they were comfy.

The location and amenities are perfect for a night stay before hiking the West Coast Trail
The fact that we couldn’t seem to get into so,e of the bathrooms with the code given and no extra toilet rolls in one.

No breakfast.
Updated restrooms. Only one shower

Comfortable beds. Nearby open air fish and chips eatery; cafe for coffee, pastries and hot breakfast.
Shared bathrooms/WC is located about 50-80 meters from the hiker cabins. Beds took up about half the space in the cabins.

Hut was very clean. Shared bathrooms and showers were kept very clean as well.
They have a recreation area - it is terrible with a shoddy couch and a fridge to store your food in - i was expecting a bright and comfy space to relax and meet people. Had to go to next door property to speak to a staff member and everything shuts down fairly early.

Basic with a bed and table, and showers / bathrooms closeby which for the most part is all you need for a one night stay while passing through town.
the room was super hot with only a tiny window for air flow and no fan so made for an uncomfortable sleep. Wasn't clear on how to find the common area or kitchen or what other amenities there were so some guidance on that would have been useful.

Close to the water, the pub and great coffee across the road. Walking distance to all you need and the facilities are neat and tidy
Nothing I can think of

Great location before and after starting the West Coast Trail. Comfortable room and the communal washrooms were perfect too. Across the street from a cute cafe and a great fish and chips food truck. Only a 5 minute drive from the WCT starting point.

Perfect for starting or finishing the WCT! Life saver and right beside a great bar for a full feed the night before you start/finish the trail!

The huts exactly match the description, nothing more and nothing less. We had a comfortable stay for one night as a group of three. There is a great pub and an amazing cafe just around the corner, but they also provide a recreation room with basic kitchen facilities. Shared bathrooms were sufficiently clean.
The Wifi wasn’t working for us and the doors were loud when opening, which was disturbing at night. Bathrooms floors could be slightly cleaner, but that’s hard when walking in with hiking shoes.

The cost
The bed was uncomfortable—hard and on a slant. Electric outlets in the room didn’t work. The check-in staff member couldn’t explain clearly how to find the “rec hall”. Bathroom was far from hut. Be warned that nearby restaurants are closed more than open.

Bed was comfortable! The location was within walking distance to eating areas and Pub. It was nice to have fridge, toaster, kettle and sink
In the communal kitchen. Also it had table with
Chairs. Parking right beside the Hikers Hut!
All was good!

Clean huts, clean bathrooms, quiet stay. Location is close to what you need.
Not a single hook in the bathrooms??? No shelf, no hooks, nowhere to hang anything??? In the washroom, no hooks?? Hut lacked them too. Just makes life so much more hygienic and convenient.

Very cute huts. Bathrooms weren’t in our room but very close by. Everything you needed

It was much more comfortable than I expected. The mattress was good quality, the cabin and bathrooms were largely clean and smelt fresh, and the heater was effective with an individual thermostat.
I don't like bedding that isn't cleaned between guests i.e. heavy fleece blanket that isn't in its own cover - so did not use this. The bring your own towel policy could be included on the booking.com page and not at the bottom of a long message (not sure anyone has time to read multiple messages from every booking when travelling around) but you can rent towels at the owner's hotel next door so that was fine. The rough wood edges/inside of the bed is clearly difficult to clean and had already accumulated dirt/dust.

The serenity and natural environment. Not the usual busy commercially overrated towns.
Hot water tap wasn't available only for one washroom and code wasn't working for one of the door at one of the washroom.

Location, cleanliness.
Stayed in the Eco-huts which require navigating some stairs to the bathrooms.
4.0 / 10.0
Location across the road from a good cafe for breakfast
Bunk bed with only inches of head room on top bunk making it extremely difficult to get in or out. Very rough unfinished wood on beds resulting in splinters on hands. No hooks in bathrooms to hang towels or clothes so everything ends up on the wet floor.

Went here alone to come down after a business trip and it was everything I needed: comfort, clean Huts, less tourists, pure nature, only few markets, but also working wifi (as there were few comments about it but it worked perfectly)
I loved it! Would definitely come here again for a silent weekend.

It looked exactly like the pictures, and I remember some guests had concerns about the number of toilets, but they’ve since added more.

Electrical available,,heat, good fire pit, parking by hut, clean sheets and blankets
Terrible wifi unable to connect with family because cell service was also bad
Top bunk very difficult to access way too close to ceiling made stay uncomfortable
Stairs to bathroom difficult with my disability thought we were in different huts closer to bathrooms

Very accommodating to our early checkin request. Washrooms and hut were clean.

Close to the Port Renfrew pub and the WCT trailhead Gordon River. Easy access into the rooms.
Need more than two bathrooms and showers for the amount of hiking rooms, some kind of occupied sign for the bathrooms.
The huts were very warm on a hot day, only a small window at the back to let any heat out.

Location was great! Cabins were very nice, however, sorry there should be a covering for narrow window, not everyone appreciates the light of day when it happens! lol
No coffee available in town until 8:30am!! We are not hikers but feel a coffee pot & supplies in room should be a must if there is no where in town to get a coffee early in the morning.
We got accommodations BECAUSE we DID NOT want to pack a bunch of stuff!!

Cheap stay at this location if not travelling with an RV.
Combination of shower, toilet and vanity in one room for 3 huts was a challenge in the evening and morning if somebody had a longer business to do. Not clear why the only available 2 washrooms are not accessible for all guests no matter which hut they are staying in. At least one towel per hut would be appreciated if linens were ordered instead of just paper towels in the washrooms.

We got exactly what we expected from the advertisement of the room. There were no surprises and we knew in advance to provide our own towels and toiletries for the shared bathroom. The staff provided excellent information on how to check in. The cabins were clean, warm and comfortable.
