Fantastic cottage. It's very secluded and peaceful, but also pretty close to Graaf Reinet. The fireplace was awesome and made the cold nights very cozy and pleasant. We enjoyed the hike we did on the farm. The kitchen has everything you need to cook big dinners. Bed is super comfortable. The shower's hot water is also great (which we especially appreciated after traveling to a few places in the countryside that all had quirky gas heaters for hot water).

We loved this place, the photos don't do justice. It's on a beautifully located farm where you can buy organic meat and cheese. Owners are very responsive but not at all intrusive. Sunbird cottage is in our top 3 stays of a 4 week road trip. Absolutely recommend and wished we had stayed longer.
