The views were lovely. The property could use some more maintenance , especially given the fees charged to stay here. Just generally could be cleaner , dead flies in the laundry and in the bathrooms. Wasn’t worth mentioning upon checkin as they are just flies but it was slightly disappointing as given the property listing we had high expectations. When checking out, we looked under the beds and there was so much dust under all the beds plus an empty beer can under the main bed. During the stay we discovered ants in the kitchen and through the coffee machine. Cigarette butts in the gravel driveway near the front door and other random general rubbish , just takes away some of the magic of the property. There are gaps in the fly screens (not all but i enough that we had to buy fly spray as we were being bitten by mosquitos.) So many mosquitos! Definitely bring bug spray. No fly screen doors in the main room is odd. And if you’re going to lock the wardrobe you need to provide something for clothing. All in all a nice stay but could be cleaner and the property in a better state for the cost.
