About this house rental
495 Main - This charming home has been almost totally renovated while keeping much of the original charm and character found in the architecture of its time. Beautiful mahogany floors were discovered below carpeting and fully restored. Original trim, and accent woodworking throughout remain. A nice front porch to enjoy morning coffee and watch the small city of Oneonta come alive.
Inside you'll find a spacious living room with a large flat screen Smart TV and comfy couches for watching a game or a movie with friends and family. There is a desk in the living room if you are stuck working while you are away. A large dining room is connected to the living room, and the kitchen just steps away when it comes time to prep your meals. Upstairs there are three spacious rooms that each have a queen bed. Large windows let lots of natural light stream in to make the space feel warm and inviting.
Local restaurants, an ice cream shop, a local produce distributor, and more are just a short distance right and left of this home. Down the front steps and to the right, less than 1 mile away is downtown Oneonta featuring more shops and restaurants of all different varieties and ethnicities. Many great dining options are just minutes away as well as more bars and pizzerias than you could hope to visit, after-all, Oneonta is a two-college town. Home to SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College, this little city is full of neat things.

Awesome house, just as described Owner, Benny, was great in communication. Nice to have washer & dryer. Bedrooms are roomy & beds comfortable I would rent again if in the area. Jump on this one quickly The town is awesome

Benny and his family were awesome hosts and their home was perfect for a week of family, fun, and baseball! So close to everything we needed and plenty of space at the property for our evening hours of cooking dinners, watching movies, and playing games! Benny was just a phone call away and quick and happy to answer any questions! Would absolutely rent his house again!

We recently stayed at this house and had an amazing experience. Our host Benny was truly exceptional during our stay. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even took the time to wish my nephew good luck at his Cooperstown baseball tournament. This personal touch meant so much to us and really made our stay special. The house was immaculate and had a cozy, homey atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I can't recommend this property enough - 5 stars all the way!
