About this house rental
Charming detached house completely renovated not overlooked on the edge of the Dordogne 5 minutes walk from the historic center of Bergerac, 6 km from Monbazillac on the road of vineyards and prehistoric sites. Ideal for fisherman and hiker.
On the edge of the greenway, two bicycles are at your disposal under your responsibility.
From June 15 to September 15 €1190 per week (€170 per night) as well as every week of French school holidays for a maximum of 5 people.
The rest of the year the rental is 150 € per night (for 5) with a minimum of 3 nights.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Pets are allowed with the owner's agreement.
A deposit of 1000€ by check is required when the keys are handed over and will be returned at the end of the stay after the inventory of fixtures.

If anything the photos don't do the gite justice. It's lovely. The location is great - it's a short walk to the centre of Bergerac, but the street is very quiet and parking is very easy. It's far enough out of town that getting out and about is easy too. We used the back gate to walk into town along the Dordogne which runs past the end of the garden. We had a really lovely, relaxing week. The hosts were great - communication was excellent - helped that one of us speaks good French. Would definitely recommend!

Wow, an excellent property and fabulous hosts!!! All communication before arrival was seamless, and super helpful. The property itself was ideal and spotlessly clean. It had everything you could have wanted from a holiday home! Check-in and checkout again were smooth and very friendly. Would highly recommend this house, it’s even better than its write up. Its highlight is that it is right in the river … but with that in mind, bring your bug spray and a fishing net.

We loved this home clean, recently refurbished to a high standard and beautiful garden with hidden areas. Wonderful spot close to town 10 minute walk.

This property is clean and lovely. The garden is beautifully done and very tranquil. The Gite is situated in a quiet area of Bergerac but close enough to walk into town. The only setback is that it should be easier on check in. Make sure you clarify times just in case of flight delays. Contact numbers etc. The landlords are a lovely couple, but you need to know your french language lol x
