Mansion - BERGERAC

The mill is the perfect rural environment to enjoy its peaceful surroundings and to recharge. It takes you back to another time with its original architecture from the 1800's.The location on the outskirts of Bergerac is ideal as a base to plan multiple day trips. We visited the Lascaux IV caves, Chateau Beynac, Chareau Monbazillac, Le Bugue, Saint Émilion wineries, Bordeaux and more.Our hosts Marc and Danielle were very welcoming and made several recommendations to make our visit to the Perigord unforgettable.

This is a great holiday home for a family that is looking for peace and quiet. The property is located on a large estate without neighbours in sight. We had a great stay playing football in the garden and paddling in the river next to the house. When we arrived at the house we were welcomed by the owners that showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. They are super friendly and made sure that our stay was enjoyable. (also nice to note that they are both fluent in French and English) I certainly recommend this as a good choice to spend your holiday in peace and being a few minutes away from the town Bergerac.

We had a lovely week staying in this lovely house with its gorgeous and large grounds just outside Bergerac. We had our dog with us and this was the perfect location, without leaving the property there are extensive interesting and beautiful walks along the river and mill race. The house is lovely, full of character and very interesting being the old mill itself. The owners were extremely and very friendly and this added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. We very much enjoyed our vacation for a month at this property. The owners were very helpful and provided us with great information for restaurants and side trips. They were so good to even recommend a dentist and make an appointment for my wife! Very, very pleased and thankful for their advice on Bastille day festivities! We felt very welcome!
