About this house rental
Near the ski resort of La Mongie, a real Bigourdan house renovated by an architect while preserving the charm of the old, with a touch of modernity, beautiful spaces and brightness. HOUSE CLASSIFIED 3 STARS "FURNISHED FOR TOURISM". It takes place like an enchantment when you arrive in front of this chalet with blue shutters, in the meadow in the middle of the sheep and the mountains.
A real haven of peace rejuvenating and close to all mountain activities:
- in La Mongie, visit the Pic du Midi de Bigorre in all seasons: astronomical observatory, planetarium, conferences, with a beautiful view of the Pyrenees
- skiing: 10-15 minutes from the resort of La Mongie Grand Tourmalet - more than 100km of slopes - largest ski resort in the French Pyrenees
- hiking/mountain biking/horse riding: 10 minutes from the Payolle lake, the entrance to the Pyrenees National Park, the blue lake and many others
- tree climbing / viaferrata / climbing (Trassouet site 10 minutes walk)
- White water sports (rafting, canoeing, etc.) and sport fishing
- Cycling and the Tour de France: at the crossroads of the Col d'Aspin and the mythical Col du Tourmalet
- Thermal cures in Bagnères-de-Bigorre
The chalet is located 500 metres from the village of Sainte-Marie de Campan where there are most amenities. For the rest, you will be 10 minutes from Bagnères-de-Bigorre, a typical small Bigourdan town with its beautiful Saturday morning market, its thermal baths and its cinema. Daily shuttles serve the resort of La Mongie and the town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre.
The chalet accommodates 10 people with:
- On the first floor: an entrance, a large and friendly living room of 60m2 (living room and dining room) with fireplace, an equipped kitchen, a bedroom with double bed (140) with shower room, as well as a toilet opposite.
- Upstairs you will find 1 bedroom with queen size bed (160) with bathroom, 1 bedroom with double bed (140) with shower room, a toilet, and a mezzanine with a dormitory with 4 single beds and its shower room.
Childcare equipment is provided on request: 1 travel cot, 1 bassinet, 1 play mat, plastic crockery, changing mat, bath chair, learning pot, toilet reducer, wooden high chair.
In addition, the stairs are secure and you will find a children's play corner, books and board games for children as well as for adults under the television.
Included in the price: sheets, towels and end-of-stay cleaning.
The linen rental rate is adjusted according to the number of beds occupied at the time of your booking request.
Note: In winter, it is mandatory to be equipped with snow tyres and chains in the area. Chains are also essential for good access to the sheepfold in the event of heavy snowfall
