With its 55 slopes extending over more than 300 hectares of slopes, the Grand-Tourmalet is the largest ski resort in the French Pyrenees. In La Mongie, find a 100% snow and ski atmosphere. Renowned for its ski area, the resort is not to be outdone in terms of the diversity of activities it offers on both sides: balneotherapy, dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, electric fatbikes and snow groomers, ice climbing, ice zip-lining, freeride course... Not to mention its two must-sees, the Pic du Midi and the Payolle lake.
Beginner skiers, families and children can discover skiing on the 2 beginners' areas of the area as well as practice off-snow activities on the family zones on both sides.
Experienced skiers can hurtle down the slopes of the 19 red and black slopes of the area, try the joys of freeride on the slopes of the Pic du Midi as well as learn or practice freestyle on the area's snowpark, composed of S, M, L and XL lines.
With the Pic du Midi, climb to an altitude of 2877 meters and enjoy an incredible view that dominates the Pyrenees. Breathe in a deep breath of air above the clouds.
At the top, you will find a restaurant, a 360° panoramic terrace, a new planetarium and exhibitions and entertainment throughout the year.
