Kasmaran Bali Guest House

Beautiful, clean room, nice staff and very friendly and always there to help or recommend things. Whenever I asked for a service like towel and bed sheet changes or laundry services the staff was very responsive and nice. They even bought local fruits for everybody and left them in the lobby. I loved the Dragon fruits and Snake fruits. Thank you Kasmaran.

A guest from Russia. She was not clean and left her stuff in the common area after cooking and left. Staff had to clean after her. She was very arrogant.

The staff were really friendly special mention to Aditya for his great local knowledge and welcoming manner. Often anticipating my needs before I even had to ask. Most comfortable bed I've had since being in Bali

I liked that they cleaned the room every day, the soft bed, and the nice soft linen.

No view, construction all around, and inappropriate behavior of staff member who asked me to be his girlfriend, which made me feel unsafe as he was constantly around.

The amazingly friendly staff was easily the highlight of my stay - whatever problem I had, the staff was always there to help and assist me. Amazingly, they did this with a smile on their face. Kudos as well to the staff who Go Sended me my noise cancelling earphones at the last minute! Shows great honesty and exceptional service even beyond check out. The guest house is located at a quiet area, which significantly helps in facilitating a good night's rest. At times, it felt like more of a hotel than a guest house as they provided daily cleaning services, fresh towels, and even made me tea which was very sweet of them. Overall, the guest house is AMAZING and would highly recommend for people who are travelling to Bali. Sad that I didn't get to explore the surroundings but from what I hear, the nearby beach is great!

Nothing really! Would have helped to have a hair dryer but everything else was absolutely exceotional.

Pros: - comfortable bed - friendly cleaners

Cons: - falsely advertised their room with the wrong photos, so I booked the room thinking it was the photo of the room that was displayed inside my booking. When I arrived, the room was totally different. I wouldn't even have paid half for that room. It was on the ground floor, right next to the kitchen where loud guests smoked night and day and sat right outside on the dining room table. Zero privacy, I did not feel safe in that room and demanded a refund. Owner/manager accused me of lying about the false advertising even though I had screenshots. He refused to give me any refund. Eventually they moved me to another equally unsatisfying room, but at least it was a few metres away from the kitchen so I had a tiny bit more privacy. - building construction all day every day - wifi unstable some days - fridge full of guest's raw meat and dairy on different shelves, which was super gross for me as a vegan. I didn't use it. - photos make it look like you will get a large room with a balcony and a fancy private kitchen but it isn't true - almost every single guest smoked, so I could not use the public lounge spaces with the dining table, sun bed, swing chair, because I don't want to smell of smoke or inhale it. there was no non-smoking area, and the cigarette smoke went into my room and lungs even with doors closed. - from the ground floor rooms no view whatsoever despite their advertising and photos showing greenery around the property, forget it, more like a concrete box surrounded by construction works - my room specifically said it came with a balcony; it didn't. All their rooms with balconies were full and the manager suggested this was my problem/issue, not his. - I communicated with customer service in booking.com for 2 weeks and they tried to communicate with the property over and over again, but the property refused to respond so I got nowhere and gave up.
