Great place for kids

We had such a great time at K2Alpacas. Our two-year-old absolutely loved the alpacas, especially Jerry the Alpaca—he was delighted to be able to feed and pet him. There was plenty of space for him to run around and explore nature. We will definitely be back in the summer to give our little one this experience again.Thanks Joe for being so kind and patient with our baby boy.

Wonderful stay

Hi, Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We completely fell in love with the alpacas — they were incredibly friendly and so adorable. The accommodation was charming, and we especially loved the super comfortable bed. The bathtub in the bedroom was amazing and such a romantic touch, beautifully placed in front of the window. The location was excellent, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. We would love to come back again. Thanks a lot for early check in and fast communication. We loved it.

The only downside of our stay was the noise from the neighbour cottage. Out of the seven cottages, only two were occupied — ours and the one right next to us. The guests there were a family or a group of friends who were clearly having a great time, with lots of laughing and singing. We didn’t have the heart to ask them to be quiet because they were genuinely enjoying themselves. If possible, it might be nice in the future to place guests a little farther apart, so everyone can fully enjoy both the fun nights and a good night’s sleep — especially in such wonderfully comfortable beds. As a small additional suggestion, the kitchen knives could use sharpening, as it was quite difficult to cut anything with them.

Peaceful break in Wicklow

Such a lovely spot! Very clean and in a great location! Loved waking up and seeing the alpacas out on the farm and the visits by Tom the Tom cat at our door. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a peaceful break in Wicklow!

I would still recommend this cottage. If the suggestion I made were implemented this would be a five star accommodation.

Beautiful location, high standard of equipment. Staff exceptional nice and helpful.

Car park dark and too far away at this time of year. Not enough light walking to cottages. A few areas not so clean, chair in lounge had crumbs in side, bed lights had spider webs, floors dusty and shower room mould and damp. It might benefit from a fan. Dirty Grouting let down a very nice bathroom. Vanity unit in bathroom needs painted.

Alpaca Joe and his staff did everything possible to make our visit delightful and memorable.

Being a working alpaca farm, the property was truly unique, in a beautiful setting high in the Wicklow mountains. Truly amazing. I strongly encourage every guest to participate in one of the farm’s 2-hour Alpaca Treks, where everyone gets to lead one of the truly comical alpacas on walk through the green, lush Irish fields. We had a great time, even in steady rain — an experience we’ll never forget.

Alpaca Retreat

Wonderful cottage with every amenity you could need. It was a lovely quiet retreat & yet there were options if you wanted to participate in things such as the prosecco alpaca trek. Bath was such a treat.

Wonderful, peaceful and perfect. Would recommend to anybody.

Cottages were modern and extremely clean. Really appreciated the cooking facilities and smart TV, as well as the super king bed. A great addition to have washing machines and dryers available also. The alpacas were also really lovely :)

Gorgeous 1 bedroom king bed suite with beautiful soaker tub in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

A lovely peaceful family break. Our cottage was spacious, spotless, equipped with everything we could need and very comfortable! A bonus was having our children join Joe to feed the alpacas and learn so much about them. They just loved it ☺️.

A real gem

Perfect, an absolutely lovely place to stay. Sue and Joe were brilliant and the cottage was immaculate. The alpacas were so sweet! Only downside was the difficulty getting transported into the village.

Luxury accommodation with friendly alpacas in Ireland's garden county

Thank you all so much for an absolutely wonderful visit. The setting in an alpaca farm was absolutely incredible and the cottages were immaculate, with modern features in a traditional style. Everything looked brand new and extra touches were greatly appreciated (thanks for the added munchies!). We loved the standalone bath in the bedroom, the rainforest shower and the super king size bed, they were a real treat. The location is incredible and it was such a delight to get up close with the alpacas and help out at feeding time. Special thanks to the wonderful Sam for his friendlyness and for being so great with my son, who is autistic. He made the experience very special for us. We were sad to go home and will be very happy to come back again in the future. For now, we have to comfort ourselves with our lovely alpaca socks and alpaca teddy :)

Great location, clean, well decorated and very comfortable cottage. The bed was very comfortable. The couch was also good quality and comfortable. Everything about the cottage was lovely.

We had great weather but if it was raining the walk up and down from the car park wouldn’t have been so pleasant. It isn’t very convenient but understandable that there isn’t much that can be done as it is a working farm.

the location was beautiful and the cottage was very nice on the inside despite minor things such as doors not being able to be closed and some damaged blinds. On sight staff were nice and easy enough to get a hold off when problems came up

The cottage we had booked were not clean when we showed up, but we got moved to another cottage that was the same as the first which was a non issue. After 48 hours we were emailed and told we needed to be ready to move rooms again the next morning as there was a double booking issue on there side. This was frustrating as we were now asked for the second time to move rooms in as many days. When we asked if there was a way for us to stay in the cottage the email went unanswered, so we spoke to the on sight staff and got an emphatic no as the answer. At this point we decided to check out two days early as this was starting to affect our holiday.
