Lovely for a weekend away from ilthe hustle or life.

The property was perfect for a short break . It was clean and in a quiet location away from the holiday crowds. The hosts were easy to contact if necessary.

It would have been nice to have more tea and coffee and condiments.

A clean, convenient place to stay in lovely Wells next the sea

The Jolly Sailor Retreat was perfect for our stay. It was close to everything we needed or wanted to do. Easy walk to the shops, harbour, cafes and restaurants. We also walked to the beach from the property. The property was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. We would stay again.

Amazing warm, cozy very clean flat, would definitely book again.

This is not criticism but an observation, the bath mat was very slippy, maybe some mat / rug gripper would just do the job.

Lovely short break

Central to the town. Clean and comfortable.

The position of the TV means you need the volume on quite high whilst on the settee. We were mindful of disturbing neighbours but couldn’t hear it otherwise.

Perfect for two friends.

A short walk to the quay and shops. Separate bathrooms for both bedrooms. Well equipped and comfortable flat.

Bottom step of stairs much deeper than the rest so a hazard when walking down. Slipshod paint job would look better if refreshed. Showers tend to spray out of the cubicle. Double bed uneven mattress.

Everything! Fantastic location to town. Beautifully decorated, clean - added extras fab like tea, coffee, washing up liquid etc. Already planning to come back next year - just hope you have availability!

We really struggled to find the house - I don’t believe the house had its name on it (might be helpful for others for the future)

A fabulous place to unwind and enjoy Wells.

A lot to like. Great location - short walk from the quay. Everything someone would need in a rental. Comfortable. Furnishings lovely. Really well thought out when it comes to cooking requirements etc, soap at all sinks, dishwasher tablets, tea and coffee etc.

I am sorry to say that it was dirty. I don’t mean quick cleans like bedding , towels,surfaces and floors - these were perfect. But in a long term way - the kitchen sink was tea stained and brown as were the cups, the showers and shower mats were brown, mouldy and the plug hole in one bathroom so clogged the shower was overflowing .

Great location

Apartment difficult to find, no signage or flat/door numbers. Delayed response from hosts when telephoned, resulting in us waiting in the area for 45 minutes to confirm it was, in fact, the correct property, plus we needed the key code number to gain access TV did not work properly. This appears to be an ongoing issue. Cleaning not to a high standard, mould in the shower, and cobweb

Lovely stay

The location is excellent and only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the harbour. Co-Op supermarket is a 10 minute walk or a short drive away. The apartment is spacious and we stayed in the 2 bedroom upstairs one which had ample parking. Would definitely stay again. There is a Chinese takeaway 200 yards along the road which we found handy as if you know Wells you will know the chip shops and restaurants close quite early for some strange reason.

Small hiccup on arrival but was dealt with speedily by the owners so no need to expand any further. A washing machine would be a useful addition to an otherwise well equipped apartment

It was an exquisite and beautiful home but a provision of air freshener would have made it better.

Everything was just as described. Well Crab House Restaurant was a lovely place to enjoy late night seafoods. Holkham Beach serenity satisfied my natural taste of tranquility. I love it there. I would definitely patronize them on another visit

Lovely relaxing stay apart from 5 hours !

Convenient location to the town

Unfortunately on the Saturday evening a house in the local area has such loud music it disrupted our evening , stopped at approx 11pm but for 5 hours plus the noise was awful
