I have stayed at Jicklings 4 times now. It is on.

The house feels very homely and is very well equipped. The location could not be better. It is great to have outside space but it could be a lot nicer.

The house feels a little like it is falling apart. The electric blow easily, something that was an issuer last time I stayed 5 years ago. One of the biggest problems is the leaking roof. The upstairs bedrooms and very damp and during our stay there was a lot of rain over night a large puddle of water formed on the bedroom floor.

lovely stay as we had beautiful weather so could enjoy the beach

location and size was great!

no mention of building work next door so couldn’t sit out in garden due to the dust and noise, builders were very accommodating but we should have been notified of the work! our cars were also covered in dust and dirt drive way extremely tight for 2 cars we had a mini and rav4 which was difficult to park…. house needs some tlc, no toilet roll left for us, stairs case rope coming out the wall, window in second double bedroom wouldn’t open, carpet is really awful to walk on albeit hard wearing! bathrooms need updating water pressure on showers is low and the toilet seat is sliding off!

the location was very close to holkham which was beneficial to us.

there was hair and dirt on the matresses under the 2 single beds at the top of the house along with sweet wrappers on the matresses also (obviously from a previous guest) we found this when we checked in. Considering we couldn’t check in early due to ‘extra cleaning’ I think this is disgusting. The showers are almost unusable also. Hardly any water and cold.

A great location but there need to be some reviews on cleaning and some update of equipment.

Location was brilliant so close to shops and harbour. Fantastic deli and fish shop 2 minutes walk away. Crabbing was great fun and a bonus having the buckets at the property. We did enjoy our stay but there were disappointing aspects!

We had difficulty getting into the property as we were given the wrong key code. Cleanliness wasn't good - we had to wash plates bowls and glasses as they were left dirty! My daughter noticed the floor in the kitchen was filthy when we were cleaning up after the baby and on the living room we found a pin! My daughter wanted to use the washing machine and it was full of water! Luckily I managed to drain it and it worked! The barbecue had wobbly legs and again needed a good wash! We came back from a day out and found a van parked in our spaces. There was someone sitting in it and he was extremely rude telling us he would be gone when the driver came back!! The following morning he came back and told us we should be out by 9 0'clock. We had it in writing that it was 10. Maybe we were given the wrong time as well as the key code!! but he was so rude!
