Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Downtown (French Qtr Area)

The staff was friendly, and the front desk team was especially helpful, vibrant, and welcoming. Our room was cleaned around 5pm most days, which was a bit inconvenient with our daily routine, and one day was missed entirely. The lobby seating could definitely use an update. The furniture looked worn and wasn’t particularly comfortable for extended sitting, which we found ourselves doing on occasion. There was also a small tear in the armrest of the office chair in our room. The complimentary breakfast was more basic than at other Hampton Inns I’ve stayed at, though still perfectly adequate. Overall, the hotel was generally clean. One small detail was the fragrance pumped into the lobby, which I personally didn’t care for, though others in my group didn’t seem to mind it. That said, we all felt safe during our stay, and our room was quiet enough since it was away from the street. The tradeoff was that our view was mostly of the neighboring building’s brick wall, but the quieter atmosphere was appreciated. All in all, it was a pleasant and conveniently located stay that met my expectations. The front desk and entrance staff consistently greeted us with smiles and a little sass, which we genuinely appreciated.

Property was very nice and the staff was helpful. The breakfast buffet was not as good as I have had in the past.

The rooms were very spacious, clean, and well stocked. The staff was very helpful and professional. The breakfast was amazing with a huge variety of food and drink options. The hotel is in a prime location, walking distance from bourbon st., french quarter, restaurants, stores, etc.
