It was clean and friendly and the breakfast was perfect

The homeless outside but was a little scary but once you say hi everyday not to bad

The hotel was convenient for exploring parts of New Orleans, and breakfast being included was a plus. The shower was good, and most of the staff outside the front desk were friendly, greeted us, and made the stay feel more pleasant.

The front desk staff felt lukewarm and not very welcoming, and our room smelled like dog or pet odor. The room faced a brick wall with no real view, so we kept the curtains closed, and although we asked to be moved, we were not accommodated. The hotel is close to Bourbon Street, which may be good for nightlife, if you are into that.

Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected my experience. My room was constantly noisy due to a giant ventilation system outside the window, making it difficult to relax. The Wi-Fi was also very poor. It felt as though the slow connection was intentional to encourage guests to pay extra for the premium internet service, despite the booking advertising fast internet. The breakfast was only average. There were virtually no fresh vegetables, while the selection consisted mainly of sugary and pre-cooked processed foods. At first, I assumed this was simply typical American hotel breakfast, but I attended a conference at another hotel during my stay and found that they offered much healthier and fresher options. It was also disappointing that the hotel did not have umbrellas available for guests during rainy weather. This may seem like a small detail, but thoughtful gestures like this can make a big difference for travelers.
