Not maintained but better than traveling at night

I enjoyed the silence at night very much, which allowed me to have a good night sleep in the comfy bed. But apart from that, this hotel didn’t fulfill my expectations. There was no drinking water, and at the reception they didn’t sell any. Because the entrance path was under water, I walked along the road at night with lots of trucks passing very closely to buy some water. So better come with enough drinking water. The shower didn’t work properly, the shampoo dispenser was empty, the bum shower had low pressure so I used my own tissues. This hotel hasn’t been maintained, but I was thankful that I could spend the night there as my ferry from Java arrived when night was falling. For a single night I definitely recommend that place instead of traveling further at night.

We arrived there late at night and asked for two rooms. The guys at reception didn’t speak english, so they google translated that we had to book online. We agreed and booked through booking.com and showed them the confirmation email. They said it hadn’t arrived to their computer, and refused to gives us rooms. They then asked us to reserve a room directly with them (even though at first they refused it), but at double the price. We staid there for one hour, they weren’t helpful at all, told us to call Booking.com to complain, even though the problem was on their computer. Finally they agree to let us pay them and show us the rooms. It was the dirtiest i’ve ever experienced, the rubbish hadn’t even been emptied since the last guests. As i’m about to hop in the shower, the receptionist comes knocking on my door (1am!!) asking if i needed help getting a taxi the next morning. At 9am i woke up with him trying to get in my room, when i asked him he answered “he thought i had already checked out”. Worst hotel in indonesia. AVOID

Good location for the National park

The staff were very friendly and, even without their English being very good, they helped us as much as they could and were very attentive. The bed was comfortable and the air con unit was new so worked well and was very quiet. We had a good night's sleep. It took us around 10-15 minutes to get from the hotel to the entrance of the National park on our scooter. The ferry over to Java was around 2 minutes walk away.

The bathroom didn't have a sink but instead had a tap straight onto the floor meaning any time you washed your hands your feet and legs got wet. The drain for the bathroom also didn't work well so after a shower the water would linger for a long time.
