Odiyana offers high value for a comparably low prize. Yes, of course it is not that close to the coast, therefore it offers an amazing view, both from the hot tub and even more so from the upper floor. Morning Yoga (mats are provided for free) with such a view is just amazing.
The breakfast was one of the best included breakfasts we had so far in this price range - the omelette is done with vegetables and not just eggs. The pancakes are fluffy. The french toast comes with cheese, which might sound weird at first, but is actually really delicious and gives a little extra energy for the day.
Overall, we were really happy with our stay. Especially the hot tub is just amazing. We spent two evenings just hanging out in the tub and watching stars.
There are no real downsides. The location might be one, if you don't have your own vehicle. But even then, the staff will pick you up and drop you off and organize drivers for activities.
The size of the rooms is fine, we had bigger, but it's totally ok. Especially since the whole upper floor of the main building can be used for Yoga/Dancing/Training, or whatever you want to do there.

The staff are very attentive and amenable, helped us arrange nature tours with a great guide (his name is Nono), and we're willing to come in early to make us breakfast and drive us to tour locations. The common areas, pool and hot tub were great. We appreciated the mosquito nets around the beds and the AC. The restaurant was good and very affordable.
The rooms had a few issues, the tap in the bathroom didn't work (just a trickle) and the front door would shake and bang noisily when the bathroom door was opened and closed so we were always waking each other at night but we couldn't leave it open because the bathroom is outdoors (letting the AC out & letting in mosquitos.) I believe changing the type of door would be a great improvement.

Set in quiet rural location. Perfect if you want to take some time out from the everyday.
Little challenging to get around without transport.

This is such a beautiful spot! The facilities were well maintained and clean.
The pool is beautifully set up with plenty of loungers and cabanas.
There is a hot pool (not super hot but very lovely).
We also got to try some grapes from the grape vines.
A lovely family run the place and seemed to do everything!!
Breakfast was delicious (and included in our rate)
Nit picking… the bath was not hot… was not an issue as i hopped in the pool.

Beautiful location - brilliant views of the volcanoes. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Very relaxing with a vineyard right next door! The pool was gorgeous with a hot pool attached which was lovely to soak in at the end of the day! Only an hour walk (at the most) from the white sand beach! Menjangan island is just a short boat journey from here - worth visiting!
There was some blood on the mosquito net

This is a perfect location if your looking for an affordable resort with wonderful staff, rooms, pool, yoga studio, massage (Evi is the best!) laundry service and restaurant. And a view of the ocean and volcano from the hot spring.
This is not your place if you want to be in walking distance from the beach, action or a nice stroll around the neighborhood.

We booked 2 cabins for 2 lady travellers. Evi made us feel super at home, safe and relaxed as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Locals are lovely too. Spent half days either exploring and the other half by the pool and hot spring. Food was great. Anything we needed was thought of and offered ie fresh towels by the pool ready for our night time swim. Evi massage is amazing. We are soooo grateful
It was all good

In 4 months of travelling around Bali, Odiyana was an absolute highlight. It is a haven of peace with stunning views, wonderful pool and hot spring, delightful staff, cheap and delicious food, and only 7 comfortable cabins. Unbelievable value for money. It's in a local Balinese area and we enjoyed wandering the streets and seeing the houses with pigs, cows and goats in the backyards and children playing with their kites.
We also had the lovely yoga shala to ourselves for our morning exercises. The view from there was so beautiful.
Not the fault of the hotel, but as in much of Bali there were a few bonfires lit in the area in the late afternoon so a strong smell of smoke for a while.

The place is in the countryside surrounded by rural which is lovely but there are roosters everywhere! Also, there was a cremation on at the temple next door so all night music. This place was extremely noisy at night. The pool is lovely and so is the hot spring pool. The little restaurant serves decent food.

Odiyana Bali Retreat has absolutely stunning views and beautiful, serene gardens with a relaxing atmosphere, set in the quiet countryside.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and always available to go above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable. We were very spoiled everyday to wake up to the lovely natural hot springs and beautiful views to do our morning yoga in the studio overlooking the property with views over to the volcanoes in Java.
Absolute Bliss 🙏
Thank you to the wonderful staff for taking care of us, we can’t wait to return.
We loved every part of this gorgeous property and are so blessed to have had this time at Odiyana.

The pools were lovely, our room was poolside and we enjoyed getting up and into the water. The setting feels like luxury when you first arrive. The gardens are lush and everything seems ideal. The young men manning this resort are willing to help on request. We accidentally booked a twin room and one man helped us push the beds together. We were practically alone here which suited us. We were helped with transport to the Turtle hatchery and back and also to our next venue which was good as no GRAB taxis available. Bit more expensive but we were grateful.
Our beds were not so comfortable and the downside of a nearly empty venue is that things are not available. Nothing in the bar apart from beer, saw vodka bottles but told we would have to buy the whole bottle! Also things were unavailable on the already quite small menu - no tuna salad... in fact no salad!! Also things needed doing, like knobs on cupboards and the sun chairs cleaned, but no one seemed to be guiding the young men to work unless it became strictly necessary.

Staff amazing and helpful.
Drop off and pickup provided efficiently and with little notice.
Wifi was not available in my room, but thats a minor thing.
Maybe add a few more items to the menu.
Suggest promoting any meditation activities as well.

When I arrived at Odiyana, I could feel my whole body immediately melt into relaxation. The pool is deep and refreshing, the hot spring bath peaceful and cleansing. The views of Java and its volcanoes were incredible!
I stayed in the rainy low season (March), hidden away slightly in a gorgeous wooden cabin (Jnanna) with views of the vineyard and the golden Buddha to the side. The room had lockable cupboards, an outdoor bathroom perfect for the climate, and mosquito netting over the bed (tho the room was free of them). I welcomed the humming buzz of the forest at night and roosters crowing from the morning. The local people are very observant in their practices and as a traveller you may not always know what festival is when. I happened to be there during Ramadan, which had loudspeakers broadcasting the call to prayer. This was only for the first few days of my stay, and tbh I actually started to miss it. It’s special to be so close to the everyday hubbub of life in north west Bali.
The local staff at Odiyana are very kind and helpful. I only had to ask and they were swift to meet my needs. I told them my preferences and if they had the time/produce available, they would accommodate me. For food lovers, I would very much recommend Evie’s Cooking Class! Evie took me to visit the local market to buy our ingredients for the two dishes I chose to learn. Evie was patient and instructive, pre-preparing the ingredients and guiding me through the steps. We had a lot of fun in the kitchen (very clean!) and I had a feast that Iasted a few days.
Odiyana has a beautiful, carefully-designed yoga shala with remarkable views of the mountains and volcanoes. It also has its own open-aired yet hidden healing hut, with massages, scrubs and beauty treatments available. The Balinese massage was excellent!
So many opportunities here - to go slow with yourself or fast-paced if you wish. It’s definitely worth a visit!
I loved everything

It is a very beautiful accommodation. Besides the swimming pool, they even have a small pool which is warm (kind of like a hot tub). There is a lot of space, and a perfect place for a yoga retreat. Staff is super friendly and I can definitely recommend getting a massage!
Food is fine. A tip is to add more vegetarian options to the menu. It is a lot of chicken and I think many people who practice yoga are vegetarian. Just a suggestion!

Had this been my first accommodation in Bali, I’d probably given it a 9/10. While all the staff was nice and willing, it felt like there was some basic training and management missing. For the off season price it was more than okay though.
WiFi was virtually non-available.
Like mentioned above, staff would benefit from a little training.

What made our stay truly special was the kindness of the staff who will go out of their way to accomodate. Made is an excellent guide. Do not forget to use the services of multi-talented Evi for Balinese massages, pedicure and manicure . Thank you Kadek and the other Made for the pool table master class. And thank you Wayan for your kindness!
The property is set in a peaceful village and is a great basis for exploring around, or just relax in the pretty garden, wonderful pool or even yoga and meditation practice. The rooms are comfortable and come with a balinese style bathroom. Breakfasts and meals are tasty . The atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful and friendly.

A charming oasis in West Bali. We stayed on New Years’ Eve and for such price that we booked, we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful this mini resort is and also by the array of facilities that we did not know existed. The best surprise was definitely the natural hotspring pool, which was such a heavenly experience especially after the long drive. The rooms were comfortable with a cold AC (Much appreciated in this part of Bali), and all the other in-room facilities were working properly. All in all, a pleasant surprise for the price and would easily recommend this retreat for a stay in the exotic West Bali.
Notes about the room types that might help:
- Kshanti is the standard room type
- Dana is similar to Kshanti, only more spacious
- Jnana is a quaint wooden house
The long drive to the area but that hotspring pool will instantly melt away the fatigue

The location was excellent. The resort was nice and peaceful and you could just relax or visit local sites.
The rooms were basic and needed a fridge and tea and coffee making facility. No tv as no other entertainment going on, no restaurant on site which makes it hard if you don’t have transportation. The food is brought in from outside sources and the menu very basic and unhealthy. Breakfast is offered yet again not the tastiest and unfortunately not prepared well. I must say the staff try hard but without proper training and poor equipment provided by management it’s impossible to achieve.
This resort has lots of potential which is up to the management to step up and help the staff.
When you go and book on different sites for this resort the description that the resort offers needs to be updated as a lot of the features are not provided unfortunately.

Love walking around the local area as it is located in the village great place to really chill out
Not much dining nearby everything is still a bit recovering post covid

location too far, cost money to go everywhere.

Comfortable beds, nice and clean, great swimming pool with separate hot plunge pool. Good water pressure. Staffs were very attentive.
The ac remote did not work might to replace the battery, and they can improve their breakfast especially the pancake as it was a bit stiff. It is also located in between village housing and main road at the back so please expect some noise in the background.
