A gem of a place, highly recommend as a stopover when travelling

A little tricky to find, but an easy walk into the town for an evening meal. Fabulous room, spacious and nicely furnished with a large en-suite shower room. The generous breakfast was a delight of local produce, of bread, pastries, fruit salad and fruit juice. A warm welcome from the host who gave us some suggestions for our evening meal and made our excellent breakfast. A nice breakfast room and a self-service kitchen for drinks was available during our stay.

It would have been nice to have had an evening meal on-site or close by, as it was a very wet evening.

Anthony was very welcoming and helpful. He offered us advice about the local area and on places to see during our cycle tour. He was kind in letting us practise our fragile French and gave us encouragement. The house is beautifully designed and the bedroom, lounge, and kitchen are exceptionally pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was really lovely too. We felt that we would like to live there!

Lovely beautifully designed and decorated cottage, wonderfully outfitted and completely comfortable. We felt pampered, well fed (outstanding breakfast) and totally rested for another day of cycling. This has been our favorite accommodation since our arrival in France. We were so thrilled to have found the perfect accommodation along the Veloscenic route.

Nogent Le Rotrou 2022

The property owners were most welcoming on arrival, allowing me to park my motorbike in their private garage and booking a table at a local restaurant, which was a 15-20 minute walk away. The whole Property was newly decorated and in spotless show house condition, with quirky ornaments. The breakfast provided was either homemade or sourced from local produce.

Everything has been great during this stay of 2 nights. The structure is perfectly renovated, kitchen well furnished and the rooms are cozy. Anthony, the owner, is extremely helpful suggesting bicycle tours, villages to visit and preparing a great home-made breakfast. The perfect stay to take a break from the city.

Super accueil très attentionné et petit déjeuner complet pour les cyclistes. Jus de pommes maison 👍 Chambre spacieuse, lit extra large et confortable, déco très soignée Espaces communs très agréables et chaleureux: salon, cuisine, terrasse avec mobilier extérieur. À disposition en supplément : boissons fraîches dans le réfrigérateur. Un vrai plus quand on arrive d’une journée à vélo.

Séjour parfais. Parking juste en face du logement, accueil Chaleureux, maison et chambre magnifiquement rénovées et décorées. Chambre et salle de bain très propres. Pour couronner le tous, pas un seul bruit pour perturber notre nuit. Nous conseillons sans aucune hésitation cet établissement et reviendrons sans hésiter.

Aussergewöhnliches und charmantes Chambre d‘hôtes - einfach Klasse!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Gemütliche 15 Minuten zu Fuss ins Zentrum ist die Unterkunft in einem ruhigen Quartier nahe des Schlosses gelegen. Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr freundlich und äusserst hilfsbereit empfangen und wir haben die Gespräche mit ihnen genossen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmack- und liebevoll renoviert und ausgestattet. In unserem Zimmer haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen, es wurden lokale und selbstgemachte Produkte frisch serviert. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die für Selbstverpflegung zur Verfügung stehende Küche ist bestens ausgerüstet. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir im geschlossenen Innenhof absolut sicher. Wir haben am Abreisetag am nächsten Etappenort das Chambre d‘hôtes einer kleinen Radreisegruppe gleich weiterempfohlen. Hierher werden wir sehr gerne zurückkehren.
