This one best avoided.

The bed was OK, the rest totally meh!

This was a tired-looking hotel from the 80s/90s. Grumpy man on reception. Very take it or leave it. Pictures of the front of the hotel are cheerful, the reality is rather grim. Ghastly decor throughout. Very weak WiFi signal. Only one usable power socket. Basic TV, feeble remote. Cigarette burns on the basin. Bath and shower out of the Ark. Stark contrast to same prices at Ibis hotels for amazing facilities. AVOID!

Overall great room, felt like a homestay rather than a hotel

The room was nice - with big and soft bed, well working radiator, and overall very clean. Interior was little but vintage but it was nice. What I really liked was the terrace in my room - though I don't think every room has it. I'm pretty sure this place is ran by a family.

At the time of check out no one was in the hotel, and the lights at the place were all out, no one was answering the phone, so that scared me a little bit. I mean, no one really visits here so I get that. However, the cafe - restaurant? - on the first floor is always busy after 12PM so from that time of the day this place feels very warm. Also they cannot speak English but body language was understandable.

The overall decor is a bit old. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling and the taps need to be changed.

Staff was a little odd, partly friendly, partly not. Breakfast was uninspiring. We arrived later than planned so we were not welcome to bring our bikes inside as promised.

5e man in reception was very friendly - the only saving grace.

We paid for a Superior King Room - what a joke! Hardly room to walk around the bed, no luggage storage, towels hardly usable they were so harsh, bed like sleeping on a board, bathroom severely outdated with a ridiculous shower arrangement in the bath which meant you had to clamber over the shower hose. Complained to the receptionist who told us all rooms were the same so either he was lying or your photos are from a totally different hotel. Totally over priced and unsatisfactory. Very angry. No hospitality tray and one plastic beaker for 2 people and that was a freebie from the Green Tea festival held in the town.

The receptionist was most helpful. Nothing else.

Just about everything. Tired decorations, worn carpets, no bar, no restaurant and no staff in evidence. The room was poorly equipped - only one plastic beaker for water. Beds narrow and no soap in bathroom.

petit déjeuner OK. C'est à peu près tout.....

Nous avions réservé un chambre triple. Nous avons eu droit à une chambre double si petite que l'on ne pouvait pas se croiser. Une personne assise devant la table empêchait le passage d'une autre personne. La température extérieure était froide, la chambre allouée n'était pas chauffée au préalable à notre venue alors que notre heure d'arrivée probable avait été demandée.... Nous avons eu froid. Il n'y avait qu'une seule prise électrique, pour la recharge de deux ordinateurs et 2 téléphones. Le gérant pas aimable. Le lendemain en partant nous nous sommes plaints. Notre chambre pour le deuxième soir a été changée pour une triple, bien chauffée. MAIS .... Sans WIFI !!!!! une personne est monté, constaté mais n'a pu rien faire. Donc hôtel trois étoiles qui en vaut tout juste deux. Nous n'y mettrons plus jamais les pieds.

L'emplacement

La propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bain. Le ménage n'est pas fait correctement. Fond de la baignoire rempli de calcaire. Le trou d'évacuation de la baignoire et du lavabo ne sont jamais nettoyés, pourtant avec une brossé à dents ce n'est pas compliqué. Petit déjeuner pas très appétissant, kiwis immangeable, trop vieux, pommes fletries , aucune touche personnelle dans la prédation. De toute façon nous n'avons jamais de retour de la part de booking.
