A great place to stay with private parking and walking distance of Chartres centre.

Room was clean & spacious with bedside tables & lamps and a great little ensuite. Close to Chartres centre to walk for a meal & to see the lumieres. Lovely breakfast with other guests.

Would have liked some English breakfast tea but that's all.

The owners genuinely cared about our stay and we felt very welcome.

The stay was brilliant. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming and they even let us leave the car in their driveway after check in while we went out into the city on the last day. I highly recommend this place! Good was also really good - fresh bakery pastries in the morning and homemade jam!!! One other guest was loud at night which disturbed my wife’s sleep but you can’t really control that too much so I wouldn’t let it affect my view of the place!

Disappointing visit as I was there for two nights.

Security for bike, easy walking distance from restaurants and the cathedral.

Very old fashioned, out of date B&B, with a shower with flappy plastic curtain, a temperamental lavatory and a very disappointing breakfast. Upstairs bedroom extremely hot.

The location was good for walking to town but the upstairs rooms are very hot.

Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of bread, pastries, yoghurts, jams & cheese. The location was good for walking into the centre of town. The host was friendly.

Unfortunately we were there during a very hot spell and being on the top floor with no air conditioning made it very difficult to sleep. Would not recommend staying there during July or August. The bathroom needed some updating as there was mould on the shower tiles. Flushing the “electric toilet “was incredibly loud ( I have never heard anything like that).

This is a gem of a place in Central Chartres- homely!!

superb location within a gentle 15 min walk of Chartres Cathedral and old centre. The breakfast was continental with a great choice of croissants ,pain au chocolat , bread etc etc and gorgeous home made jams/ confitures- the nectarin was excellent. parking is safe off street. courtyard seating outside some of the rooms.

Little gem of a chambre d’hôte within walking distance of the cathedral.

Fantastic location. Secure parking. Comfortable, warm and clean accommodation. Nice lounge and breakfast area for guests with access to kettle for late night cuppa! Welcoming, laid-back host. Plenty for breakfast including home made jams.

Nothing major. Parking a bit tight but very happy to have it. Would have preferred the duvet to be in a proper cover. Quite surprised to be woken by a city cockerel!

Breakfast was OK. Lovely bread and a selection of homemade jams but would have liked a croissant or pain au chocolate and some fresh fruit as well. The room was large and spacious and we had our own door in to the garden and a table and chair to sit at.

Exceptional

This property is situated in a good, central location for visiting the beautiful city of Chartres - we particularly enjoyed the illuminations in the evening. The room was cosy and tastefully furnished, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, with excellent fresh bread and homemade jams, as well as fruit, juices and yogurts. Parking was secure in the enclosed, locked courtyard. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

Welcoming hosts, use of bicycles, cosy garden and common room, delicious bread for breakfast with nice jams, and great location to go to the centre of Chartres

The bathroom is quite antique and it does not offer a lot of privacy when travelling with a friend, plus for the toilet to flush you have to push a button for a relatively long time. Didn't always work right away.

Everything was excellent: the owner´s warm welcome, room, house .... The room is very spacious. Great living room with the possibility of coffee and tea. Very quiet part of the town.

The only (little) imperfection: it would be good to install the bathroom´s door - not everybody want to hear everything ...
