PRTR Apartment w/ FREE parking

Dobre polozenie, blisko stacji metra, rowniez spacerem nie bylo daleko do centrum. Na plus dodatkowa toaleta na parterze oraz pralka, suszarka i zelazko.

Miejsce parkingowe jest okropnie ciasne, do tego miedzy sciana a filarem. Nie mam SUVa, a i tak mialam problem z wydostaniem sie z auta tak, by nie obic sobie drzwi i z wydostaniem wszystkich bagazy. Do tego przed maska umiejscowione sa jakies drzwi,przez co nie mozna dojechac az do sciany (takie wskazowki dostaje sie od wynajmujacego przy zameldowaniu) i trzeba byc gotowym na to, ze ktos bedzie sie krecil przy samochodzie i moze przy tym uszkodzic lakier. Na dokladke jakis pajac nakleil nam na srodku przedniej szyby kartke z napisem, ze nie mamy prawa tam parkowac, mimo ze miejsce zostalo nam wskazane przez wlasciciela apartamentu i kolejne 1000km drogi do domu wracalismy z szyba uwalona klejem od tasmy na wysokosci oczu. Apartament byl strasznie duszny, chodzaca na okraglo klima nie dawala rady doprowadzic temperatury do takiej, by dało sie komfortowo wyspac. Odplyw wanny byl zapchany i woda strasznie wolno spływala.

Spacious, parking included

Location was ok and near the metro. It was good to have two toilets. They left enough toiletries and detergents.

The blackout blinds were torn from the beginning, to the point that they could not be pulled down at all. I informed the apartment immediately after arrival and sent photos as proof. I was told that maintenance would be notified, but nobody came during our three-day stay. Later, I noticed that other guests had also mentioned the same issue in their reviews, which means the problem was already known. Unfortunately, there was no real effort to solve it, despite the fact that without proper blinds it was almost impossible to sleep because of the light. Another major issue was the air conditioning. It seemed to be set to a minimum level and locked, so it was not possible to adjust it. Since the apartment is in the attic, it became extremely hot and there was not enough fresh air. The roof windows could not be opened properly because of the heat and mosquitoes, so we ended up opening the entrance door to the staircase, which is neither safe nor a normal solution. The main bed was uncomfortable, with a visible dip and constant squeaking every time someone moved. The sofa bed in the living room, however, was comfortable. The apartment itself is not expensive, but these issues seriously affected our stay. We tried to avoid spending time there because the heat made it very uncomfortable. The parking space is extremely narrow, and the driver has to get out through the passenger side. Because of this, we did not move the car during our stay. The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated — finding the keys felt like a treasure hunt. Luckily, the younger members of our family managed to solve it. Communication with the staff also felt unusual; there were many instructions and tasks, which gave the impression that this might be managed by an agency rather than the owner. After the full payment was made, there was not much flexibility left for us. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out at 10 AM, with cleaning given as the reason.

The location of the Prater apartment in Budapest is excellent, everything is close by and for that I give it a 10. Parking is also very good; I was able to park a 5-meter-long car without problems. While it’s not the most comfortable parking spot, it is great considering it’s free. Communication was generally fine.

There was no flexibility from the owner regarding a guest-number error caused by the Booking app, and they wanted an additional payment to add my child as a guest, even though the price for three guests had already been paid. This resulted in an unnecessary and lengthy process with Booking support to correct the issue. Hygiene and sleeping comfort were very poor. The beds and sofa are worn out and extremely uncomfortable, to the point where you can feel the wooden slats, and I had to buy an air mattress just to sleep on the sofa. Although the apartment looks clean at first glance, daylight revealed superficial cleaning: hair on the floor, a dirty kitchen, baseboards, kettle, shelves, and walls, lots of fingerprints on the glass railing and microwave, and the toilet brush was extremely dirty. The smell of the apartment was also unpleasant. Overall, hygiene and sleeping comfort were the main problems, which is disappointing given the otherwise excellent location and parking.
