City Quays Accommodation

very good location, which was very walkable to most popular sights in Cairns. the shower was nice, and stocked with shampoo/conditioner.

i found the place to not be the most cleanly, a few of the kitchen drawers were filled with random crumbs and debris. the bathroom drawers had a decent amount of hair left in them, and the bathroom cabinet handles needed a good scrub. as someone with OCD, i was a little on edge touching things. dishes are also washed in the bathroom sink, so if “bathroom air” bothers you, i’d recommend elsewhere.

Very comfortable unit and in a great location.

Street noise.

We stayed in the smaller studio apartment. There were a couple of nice little touches such as a couple of coffee pods and some milk and sugar for the coffee. And it was very clean. There was an air fryer and a microwave, no stove. The location was good we could walk easily to the grocery store and restaurants.

The bathroom had a musty smell.

the location was good

there was a trip hazard at the bathroom door the kitchen facilities were poor, one can not really cook here, no kitchen sink, only one kitchen knife, no cutting board and you are expected to take out your own rubbish when you have enough to deal with your own luggage view over roofs and grafiti was dissapointing
