    Accommodation was nice with prime location and humble staff.

    What’s good: - The location is right at the center of Cairns- walking distance to the esplanade lagoon, pier, night markets and grocery stores -the room I booked was spacious and can actually accommodate 3 people. -They have lockers for you to keep your luggage if you need to before or after check out -staff are helpful in calling a taxi for guest. -there is laundry area as well as microwave to heat foods. What’s not so good: - first off for me was the bed. I immediate noticed upon entering my room that the linens of the bed as well as the pillow cases were not changed. It’s obviously used (probably by the last guest). I paid a room so I deserve fresh linens, towels and pillow cases. I raised my concern to the receptionist and they changed it. -for my 3 nights stay, no one tidied up the room. -each rooms use traditional key 🔑 for the door not key card. -the elevator is old. During my first time using it I was scared because I thought I’m gonna fall. It slams when it halts to your floor. Just got used to it after using it for few times.

    We had a booking for 4 nights, but we cancelled on day 2 because we couldn’t sleep for two nights. There was no double-glazed window and it was very noisy at night until morning. No sleep at all.
