Spacious, Bright, Clean and Great Location!

Agency, which is located on the way to the apartment, was very helpful with our luggage transport, going out of their way to take it for us to the apartment as we were on foot. The place was bright and clean and kitchen had great pots and pans and dishes! Good appliances made for easy meal preparation.

The bed was lumpy and not very comfortable. Shower took a little adjustment to dial in temperature and pressure, but eventually good. Neighbors' conversation was loud and into the night--thin walls. You can hear every word.....BUT, there is a heavy door separating the sleeping quarters from the living room, so we slept quietly!

Quiet base for Cinque Terre trip.

Levanto is a lovely town and a great base to start Cinque Terre exploration. Apartment in quiet spot but short walk to beach and shops.

Booking Agency where you collect keys is tricky to find when you arrive. Parking on site and road width near apartment both narrow.

Rustig gelegen appartement vlakbij de zee

Het appartement ligt in een rustige straat op 400 meter van de zee en het keienstrand. Het strand loopt aan het zuiden over in een zandstrand. We hadden geen last van buren of van straatlawaai. Een meerwaarde vond ik de rolluiken in de slaapkamers, waardoor je de kamers volledig kan verduisteren. In de keuken is alles aanwezig (potten, bestek en servies) om zelf eten te bereiden. Er is een ruime koelkast, een vaatwas en zelfs een wasmachine (maar die was volgens mij niet aangesloten). De badkamer is klein maar comfortabel. Bovendien is het een net en ruim appartement. Voor onze aankomst werden we door het verhuurkantoor gecontacteerd met info over het afhalen van de sleutels. Die moet je tijdens de openingsuren van het kantoor afhalen op enkele straten van het appartement.

Over het appartement heb ik geen opmerkingen. Het is niet recent gebouwd (de trapleuning naar het appartement is bv. roestig) maar het is wel proper. Een minpuntje is dat de WiFi niet werkte. Levanto is een gezellig maar klein stadje. Er zijn weinig horecagelegenheden (je kan daarom best vooraf reserveren als je gaat eten). Het voordeel van het appartement is dat je een eigen keuken hebt. Er zijn bovendien in de buurt een aantal nachtwinkels waar je terechtkan als je op restaurant geen plek vindt en zelf aan de slag moet. Als je de verbinding naar Cinque Terre wil maken, moet je telkens de trein of de wagen nemen. Het is een kwartier wandelen (steile klim) tot aan het treinstation van Levanto.
