Monastiraki Place

Excellent location! The accommodation is very close to Monastiraki Square, making it easy to access many of the main tourist attractions. It was very convenient for getting around and exploring the city without wasting much time travelling. Highly recommended if you want to stay in a central location, save time, and make the most of your visit.

My room was on the second floor, so you need to use the stairs. I noticed an older lift in the building, but I’m not sure whether it was in operation. This was only a minor issue for us, and it should not be a problem if you are comfortable using the stairs.

Loved the location!

Beds could be updated.

Great location. Clean and convenient for a brief city stay.

Front door tricky to open. Missing door on shower. Hot water bit of a nuisance to turn on / off. Shower head loose and leaks scolding hot water

Location was good. This type of holiday facility is suitable for a younger couple but not for me.

Three sets of passwords to renember. Once you get through the front door you are faced with three sets of steps to reach the first floor. The whole area is very tired, uninspiring and bleak. The room itself is okay as it is, if you ignore the cheap settee and the wobbly chairs that are an accident waiting to happen. They need immediate replacing, the bed is fine but the walls are paper thin. You hear everything. Outside area is poor. This is budget accommodation, it will suit some people but not me.
