It is Extremely disaster to book this hotel by Agoda. This hotel supposed to be self-check in as other aparthotels. However, there is no instruction from them, and no contact information at Agoda. We did try to approach Agoda and search the hotel contact in Google. We had tried to approach the hotel several times one day before we checked in, but no reply. Our schedule from Santorini to Athens is quick tide as this was our last day at Greece. We arrived the hotel at around 5:00pm, as agoda told us to approach hotel reception first. There was no one in the reception, but we tried several times to call the hotel as their reception notice. No reply from them, I contacted Agoda, but they had no solution to us. Their solution was to give me another hotel contact which is far away from Athens city when I called this another hotel. After around 1.45 hours later, the hotel finally contacted me for the check in instructions. However, the hotel told me the check out time was 11:00am, which is different to what Agoda’s apps display （12:00noon). For those traveler with family, you better not book with this hotel via Agoda as there is no solution at all from them. I will say this is totally different to another hotel booking apps

Overall, we were quite satisfied with the stay, especially considering the price. The location is decent and relatively quiet, and the apartment itself is generally comfortable. However, the hot water situation was a major disappointment. When we arrived in the evening, the water heater had not been switched on, and since it is a storage water heater, we had to wait around 40 minutes just to get hot water. Even then, it only lasted about 10 minutes, meaning the second person had to wait again very late at night to shower. What we found difficult to understand was that this issue was explained as being caused by the previous guest switching it off. From a guest’s point of view, hot water is a basic facility and should be checked and prepared by the host before arrival, rather than being blamed on previous guests. There were also a few smaller issues: the corridor can be a bit noisy, and late at night someone mistakenly tried to open our door for several minutes, which was quite frightening. The kitchen had some dust, though overall cleanliness was acceptable. In summary, the apartment offers good value for money and we were mostly satisfied, but basic facilities like hot water really need better preparation, and responsibility should not be shifted onto guests.
