Stunning hotel on the top of the mountain

Perfect view, accommodations and service.

Tô go from hotel to main gondola we need to take a T Bar lift, which is difficult when snowboarding. But this is minor compared to how great all the rest was.

Truly memorable

Isolated resort on the top of the mountain. It’s just so beautiful. Other reviewers remarked that the menu price is a bit expensive (CHF 100), but eating a la carte is much cheaper, so don’t let this be your main concern. Dinner was quite nice and breakfast amazing.

Probably the best view we ever had from a hotel room!

The room! And the totality of the hotel design. We took a junior suit, the room was just stunning with amazing views from two huge windows. The edges of the windows have a comphy seating on which you can have a nap, meditation, gaze a the breathtaking view or read a book. This is a really unique location, and a unique building with a lot of attention to details. There is nothing else around the hotel besides the mountains- nature in its whole glory! The staff was extremely helpful with all information we needed for hiking as well. Despite my minor ‘dislikes’ below, I would definitely return in the summer when the snow is cleared and we can properly explore the surrounding mountains!

The shower. It is not warm enough there, additionally there is no door to the sower corner and the water are going all over. Would have been nice to have a more elaborated spa area, there is a head swimming pool outside but it’s for the brave (35.C was not enough for me when the temperature was almost 0). —Suggesting to a to light blankets to get even more cost when sitting at the window

All facilities are very good. Location is one Moreno extra bonus!

There is no door of the shower room, so very easy to get water out. Also sometime the room get too humidity but no vent fan available.

Magnifique endroit pour se réposer

L'endroit.

Peu flexible en cas de maladie (pour notre fils qui n'était pas bien, p.ex. acun flexibilité pour nourriture hors carte). La nourriture du soir m'a pas convenu (vomi juste aprés). Pas d'empathie mais que de soupçons de la part de la cuisine. Pas un geste de leur part. J'ai du payer tt le repas et il m'ont même pas offert une tisanne.

L’équipe de la réception sympathique et réactive la personne du petit déjeuner désagréable et très lente 20mn pour avoir des œufs alors qu’il y avait très peu de clients pour un 4* ça laisse à désirer La vue exceptionnelle le matin a compenser ce manque de service.

La vue grandiose, un emplacement au cœur des montagnes, le luxe de l établissement, le chambre spacieuse. Super transfert jusqu aux télécabines.

Absence totale de produits d accueil dans la sdb pour un 5 étoiles (Coton démaquillant etc…), crème. Il manque un mini frigo dans les chambres et le room service du petit déjeuner pour cette catégorie d hôtel. Aucun accompagnement n est prévu avec les viandes du restaurant.

Expérience idylique

La localisation et le design font de cet hotel un lieu exceptionnel. L'aménagement intérieur est top : épuré mais chaleureux et très confortable. Les larges baies vitrées donnent l'impression d'être dans la nature. Le service en 4×4 depuis la télécabine.

Le buffet du petit-déjeuner, tout en étant varié et qualitatif propose certains mets un peu trop originaux et pas très gustatifs. Sur un séjour prolongé, la carte du restaurant est un peu courte.

Jeder Rappen wert...

Personal: Freundlich, aufmerksam, Sie suchten nach Lösungen, wenn wir mit Problemen kamen, und waren daher sehr flexibel. Wir mussten leider früh auschecken, weshalb sie uns angeboten haben, dass uns jemand vom Personal extra fährt. Zusätzlich wurde für uns das Frühstücksbuffet früher als vorgesehen bereitgestellt – nur für uns. Ausstattung: Alles war in bestem Zustand. Es gab eine Lobby mit Spielen, Büchern und einem Billardtisch. Wenn man rausging, gab es Decken usw. Sauberkeit: Ich habe kein einziges Staubkorn gesehen, allerdings gab es einige Fliegen im Haus. Das hat aber nicht wirklich gestört. Komfort: Alles war sehr praktisch eingerichtet. Jedoch war mir und meiner Partnerin das Bett zu hart. Dennoch hatten wir im Zimmer eine Kissenauswahl zwischen einem festeren und einem weicheren. Lage: Da die Strasse nicht von normalen Autos befahren werden durfte, hatte man seine Seelenruhe. Die Aussicht und die Ruhe waren einfach nur genial. So etwas findet man heutzutage nicht mehr. Preis-Leistung: Für Essen und Trinken bezahlten wir insgesamt um die 160 Franken (1 Portion Ravioli, 2 Salate, für 2 Personen Fondue, 3 Gläser Wein à 10 Franken). Ich fand es leider ziemlich teuer, jedoch war es mir das Geld wert, wenn man bedenkt, was man dafür erhalten hat. Alles war frisch und hausgemacht. Wären die Preise ein wenig billiger gewesen, hätte ich auch mehr gegessen. Jedoch muss jedem klar sein, dass die Preise dort oben natürlich teurer als normal sind.

Es wäre toll, wenn auf der Speisekarte einige Standardgerichte vertreten wären. Auch wenn es das gehobene Image ein wenig zerstört: Burger, Spaghetti usw.
