The place is situated away from the main part of the city, but not too far. The hospitality was great! I will definitely choose to come here again if I visit Chikmagalur.

A very nice stay in a quiet location, though very close to city center. Room/bath was very clean and host(ess) very helpful and pleasant.

We stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. The view from the property is really beautiful and peaceful. However, the room conditions were not as expected.
The listing mentioned an AC room, but there was no air conditioning provided. The room was very hot, and only a table fan was available, which wasn’t sufficient in the heat. The cot/bed was also quite hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
There is no in-house food arrangement, so you need to order from outside (like Swiggy or Zomato), which can be inconvenient.
This place might be enjoyable during cooler seasons like winter or monsoon, but I would not recommend it during summer unless proper cooling arrangements are ensured.
