Lovely positioned up market hotel, but expensive to eat and drink here. On top of anything you order will be a table cover charge per person and 15% service charge.
When you settle your final bill, look at the discretionary service charge, this will be 5% of your total hotel booking cost, in our case 238 euros. You might be happy paying this or have this removed as we did.
The service is good you are constantly attended to by the staff. One lift was intermittently out of order which left one working.
Breakfast was 40 euros each plus cover charge, we couldn't book this at the time of booking the hotel, it wasn't offered. It is a good breakfast, hot and cold food in a great setting.
The sea is not good for swimming, there is not a beach and steps are difficult to access in and out the sea. There is a small floating jetty but i wouldn't jump off as the the sea is shallow and rocky on the seabed. Once in it is safe to swim, not for children though.
