    Shall I mention I came for a holiday. I left with an existential crisis — because how am I supposed to return to normal life after this? La Plage wished me happy birthday five times. FIVE. My own family managed three. The room looked like it had been decorated by someone who actually cared, the spa didn’t just relax my body — it quietly reorganized my priorities. The warmth here isn’t a policy. The staff operated with the kind of quiet excellence that makes you feel simultaneously important and completely at ease — which is the hardest combination to pull off in hospitality. I have stayed in many places around the world. La Plage is the one I will tell stories about. This is not a review. This is a thank you note dressed as a review.     We had a great stay at Plage Hotel—clean, stylish, and in a great location. However, there was a mix-up with our booking through Agoda. We had reserved a room with an outdoor jacuzzi, but the hotel showed us their confirmation from Agoda, which didn’t include it. Thankfully, the staff were very kind and accommodating, and they still gave us the jacuzzi room, even though we supposedly hadn’t paid for it. While we really appreciated the hotel’s hospitality, this experience left us feeling unsure about booking through Agoda again
