The close proximity to the beach and restaurants. I had a car however next time would opted to forgo.
There was a lot of construction on the parameter that made it challenging. Not the fault of the resort. Just something to note.
Also would have been nice to have some beach chairs in unit as well as a few lights did not work.

We love Kauai and especially Kapaa. The town is rural and spread out and the Resort is perfectly located on the beach and next to the Coconut Marketplace. We have been comming to this resort for at least 10 years. You will love the open produce market three times a week.
The Islander on the Beach is a beautiful complex. Unfortunatly the rentals are owned by different entities. Vacasa for example rents units for owners but is not on site and doesn't have access to the Resort facilities such as Laundry. Tip: Unless you are going to tour the island every day, try using an UBER for short trips. Why to have a car parked in the lot?
