Nice aparthotel in Sappada

The well appointed apartment good for a family of two adults and two children. The little swimming pool outside was liked by the children. The town of Sappada/Plodn is beautiful.

The hot water was a problem in our room (#103). We understand the hotel is running on some eco-friendly mix of energy sources, but for us it meant we had to be inventive to get hot water for our children to take a hot shower. We did not use the spa as you need to pay €50 per person including the children just to get there for 30 minutes, and it is of unknown quality as it is closed all the time. Note this is not a hotel, so there's nobody there until 4 pm. There is no breakfast, you are supposed to make your own (the kitchen is good) or go outside. The town is beautiful but the facilities just next to the hotel are not very beautiful, some sort of a warehouse and some sort of a stone dump.

the apartment was new and clean. the personnel was very polite.

the room was too small to accomodate a family of 4. the bunk beds under the roof were way too small (impossible even to sit on them) and not ok to accomodate not even a teen. The room was also very dark and with limited windows in the room. When requested to offer us an alternative, nothing has been provided other that an inflatable bed - a solution not in line with the price range of the hotel. One of us ended up sleeping on the couch. No discount has been offered.

Better places to stay in lovely Sappada.

It's in a nice location, in the wonderful village of Sappada, in a quiet area. The massage we both enjoyed was fantastic.

The owner advertises House Muhlbach has a pool and outdoor lounging area. The pool was green with algae and the outdoor lounges etc. were not kept clean (see photos att.) and I booked it primarily because it "has a pool" NOT. We arrived on a Sunday, and had trouble getting the key. No arrangement for Monday breakfast was available (it even costs extra, above the Euro 175 per night) but we were not told that. The apartment wasn't particularly clean, and the living room has low beams that one has to avoid and are not marked or protected from a guest banging their head. When I raised the issue of there not being a pool w/ the owner, she ignored me.

Una notte a Sappada

Camera ampia dotata di tutti confort, pulita, ben arredata.

Servizio d’accoglienza assolutamente da migliorare. Su Booking è indicato solo “check-in dopo le 16:00”, senza alcuna informazione su un limite orario. Noi e un’altra coppia siamo arrivati poco dopo le 23:00 e solo una volta davanti alla porta abbiamo trovato un foglio affisso con scritto “check-in dalle 16:00 alle 19:00”: prima di quel momento non avevamo ricevuto nessuna comunicazione su questa limitazione. Nonostante ciò, avevamo cercato di avvisare: la mia amica ha chiamato e io ho inviato un messaggio tramite la chat di Booking il giorno prima, ma non abbiamo mai ricevuto risposta. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo telefonato e ci hanno persino chiuso il telefono. Dopo vari tentativi, una signorina ha risposto dicendo che il check-in era solo fino alle 19 e che non risultava alcun nostro contatto. Solo successivamente un signore molto gentile si è presentato, si è scusato e ci ha aperto la porta. Materasso e cuscini non accordi alla livello struttura e prezzo.

Potteva essere molto meglio

Il posto era nuovo, arredato bene ma il materiale non di gran qualità. Era pulito e molto spazioso. Bagno grande un bellissimo terrazzo con una bella vista.

Eravamo in 4 più un bambino di 2 anni, due camere separate. Al nostro arrivo non c’era nessuno, avevo chiamato per avvertire che facevamo un po’ tardi ma nessuno ci ha risposto. Al nostro arrivo Chiamato e una persona ci ha detto che il check in era fattibile fino alle 19. ma su Booking non c’era questa informazione. Assurdo un check in alle 16 di pomeriggio e check out alle 10 di mattina. Abbiamo pagato €500 a notte senza colazione, ma avevamo la possibilità di portare di casa e farci da soli. Il materasso terribilmente morbido, cuscini troppo alti senza possibilità di scelta.
