What a perfect location for getting around everywhere. Wonderful accommodation dating back to 1770 was great to be in such an authentic building even with the steep steps. Mary Grace and her beautiful dog, Moby made us feel right at home. Mary Grace was so very helpful with suggestions and information far beyond what was expected but was greatly appreciated. Thankyou would love to come back one day

Location is excellent! Close to grocery store and transportation center. You can easily walk from Centraal train station.

Mary Grace is such a wonderful thoughtful host...she really helped us with all our questions, etc. And Moby, her dog, is ridiculously cute! Staying in a room from the 1700s felt magical. She's updated everything, and still left the charm (those beams!)
Not really fair to say this could be "better," as part of the charm is the original nature of the place! And that includes steep, Amsterdam steps. We LOVED staying on the top floor, but I can imagine for some people, that might be a little challenging.

The property was very authentic, comfortable, and homely. The location was very convenient and also quiet, and the host, Mary Grace (and her dog Moby!), is exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
