Bcn Sagrada Familia Apartments

Loved staying at this flat with my mum. Super comfy, spacious, an oasis from the heat outside. We loved coming back from walking all day to a flat so airy, and sitting at the balcony drinking a "Clara" that we had in the fridge with some snacks (no need to pay for pudding at the restaurant!). My mum has limited mobility so the lift was important. The location was incredible! So close to Sagrada Familia that you can walk there, and you can take the metro and bus to get anywhere in 20, 30 mins.

-The location is great (close to restaurants, shops and Sagrada familia!) -Theres a lift to the apartment if needed. -Choice of using the bath or shower! -Basic amenities were provided. (Little shampoo, soap and cutlery/cookware. Ect.) -I love that there was a balcony to enjoy the evenings on.

-Minor cosmetic marks throughout the apartment. (Blinds,Bathroom sink, ect.) -There was no remote control for the TV and no buttons to turn it on manually. -There was construction happening very close by (A neighbouring building had been recently taken down and groundworks were ongojng) the apartment was quite noisy during the day.

The owner was responsive. The location was very good, walking distance from some attractions. Easy access to public transport. Restaurants and groceries are at walking distance.

The cleanliness of the flat left a lot to be desired, especially the bathroom, which looked like it had lost the battle against time. The shower had no glass partition or proper barrier, just a plastic curtain trying its best. As a result, every shower turned the entire bathroom into a miniature indoor swimming pool. Future guests may want to bring not only their luggage but also their basic engineering skills to solve the flooding problem. The bedroom had neither air conditioning nor even a fan. Although there was an AC unit in the living room, it seemed to have signed a non-aggression pact with the bedroom and refused to cool it. If you decide to stay here, it is wise to pack extra toilet paper and kitchen towels, as the provided supply is more of a symbolic gesture than a practical one. Finally, the entrance to the building greeted us with the unmistakable aroma of rotting kitchen waste. It felt less like arriving at a holiday apartment and more like checking into a waste processing facility. Overall, the property has potential, but it currently offers more adventure than comfort.
