Breakfast rich but similar every day

If it weren’t for the staff, I’d be giving this an 8. They all spoke English, extremely helpful. Nice hearty breakfast. Rooms cleaned daily. Big hot shower. Across the street from Parque Poblado, very handy location. Very conscious of environmental impact. Nice seating areas, hammocks.

No windows in property, very dark, no ventilation except for fan. You can’t read by the bedside lamps.

I stayed 3 nights at Refugio del Jaguar in Medellín and ended up extending my stay because I really felt good there. A special thanks to all the Samuels and José 😄 All the guys working there were always super helpful, attentive and genuinely caring to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my time. The place has a very unique atmosphere, perfect if you want to feel surrounded by nature and jungle vibes while still being in Medellín. Definitely recommended. 🐆

The really beautiful hotel with so many small and larger items that reminds of the Jaguar and nature. Soo many plants inside. The peace and relaxing feeling you get inside even being in a big city with a lot of traffic. And restaurants, bars, coffee places close by. Transportation a lot different ways to see the city.
