The air conditioning was necessary during our stay, as it was 95 degrees Fahrenheit. It worked extremely well and was worth the extra cost. I recommend considering this if it is going to be hot when you are attending. It was also pretty spacious and even allowed people to have separate spaces with the separation of the loft and the living space.
The parking situation is annoying, but there is not anything the property owner can do about this. The process to pick up the key is a little annoying as well since you have to go to a different location first. It is also a lot of stairs, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely something to keep in mind when bringing luggage up.
