The Cottage

Spacious house, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, big enclosed garden, big kitchen. Parking in front of the cottage. Perfect location for visiting Dorset and areas.

The hygiene: In every room multiple occupied cobwebs Kitchen utensils and mugs were not clean, still a lot of last dinners parts. Kitchens drawers not cleaned, contaminated with food remainers, crumbs etc. So we first started with vacuum cleaning and washing dishes and kitchen. But most repellent: mice droppings and mice in several cupboards. After reporting this immediately, we received a mousetrap. Our score after 3 days: 5 mice. We had no problem with catching mice, but for sure this needs to be addressed.

Spacious. Location for us was ideal. Had what we needed for the two nights Hosts very helpful when we could not find the property in the dark and rain

Much easier to find approaching from the Broadstone direction than from Merley end

It was the ideal location for us and what we needed it for. It was a good size

Although it was surface clean there were a lot of cobwebs that had been missed. We had to go out to buy toilet roll as there were 5 people staying and there was only half a toilet roll in each of the toilets, we checked in all cupboards and there were none. You would expect it up here provided as a basic item

Lovely property in great location, spacious house and lovely host. Couldn’t ask for more.
