Perfect overnight stay - recommended.

Great decorations, design and environment.

The breakfast was poor, not enough options or quantity. If you wish to have a strong breakfast without bread, there is not much to chose.

Beautiful hotel but don’t book on Monday or Tuesday.

Location worked for us. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was comfortable. Parking was easy.

Disappointed restaurant and lobby closed on Monday and Tuesday. Didn’t know that prior to booking. Check in would have been awful without another guests assistance.

It was a very relaxing, nice and clean Hotel. I would definitely go again.

I had to leave the Hotel very early in the morning because of another business trip. They served me breakfast earlier than the normal time and it was very nice.

The key of the room was heavy and big to carry, they can change them with smart cards :)

An amazing stay leaves us wanting to return asap!!!!

Breakfast was amazing ! It was served( once you looked at a sheet listing everything they had). They will also bring you a bit of all the traditional Black Forest breakfast things if you have an challenges with the German list. It is about 3 km from Lahr, about 35 km from Strasbourg. It was worth EVERY Penny!!! Thank you Adler! We loved our Saturday night dinner in the Gasthaus( book in advance!) .PS We are Canadians

Beautifully situated - look no further if you are travelling with a dog.

The location of the hotel is nothing short of superb. There are beautiful walks along the little river and into the forest immediately behind the property. The rooms are good sized, the bathrooms clean and well-equipped with plenty of hot water. The breakfast is first-class, efficiently served at your table with a smile. I have been here three times, and twice occupied the same very nice room, with a pleasant balcony such that you can sit outside and enjoy the afternoon/evening sun. The carpark is large, safe and very practical, with direct access to a back door of the hotel from there. The hotel is very dog-friendly - and so it is a pleasure to stay.

I was in Lahr in August. The room was too hot to sleep properly - air-conditioning is sorely needed during the summer months (there is a little desk standfan - better than nothing 😀). The WiFi is unfortunately not strong enough to be able to work from the large work surface provided. I had to sit near the door in an armchair with my laptop on my knees.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel not to be missed.

The situation is exceptional - wonderful walks await your just behind the hotel carpark. The rooms are great - spacious and practical with a lovely balcony. Breakfast is first class and they're dogfriendly too. The staff are (very) kind.

The wi-fi is a little weak. I knew this from before, so brought my own repeater, which obviates the problem.

Absolutely everything else : the friendly staff (dog-friendly too 🐕😃), the class, the comfort, the wonderful walks along the stream and into the forest behind, the quiet, the good breakfast.

Comfy and worth your money.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and cozy. Workers were friendly and helpful, it was very nice of them, that they let me have a late lunch after 10 at night, although the kitchen closes at 10 (I had a salad with shrimp, which was great). I would recommend this hotel to others and would gladly stay there again myself.

Das Hotel ist im traditionellen Schwarzwaldstil gehalten. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet. Auch dass ein Restaurant dazu gehört, ist sehr angenehm.

Für das Restaurant sollte man rechtzeitig buchen, sonst wird man an die Bar platziert. Das macht nervös, da man sich wie ein fünftes Rad am Wagen fühlt. Mir hat es den Genuss verdorben. Ich war einfach nur froh, als ich fertig war. Das Zimmer war außerdem bitterkalt.

Séjour remarquable

La propreté et le confort. Gentillesse du personnel et de la responsable qui parle très bien français. Qualité du dîner et petit déjeuner. Facilité pour se stationner. Chien accepté et possibilité à quelques minutes à pied de l hôtel de faire une belle promenade au bord de la rivière bref établissement à recommander.

Le temps passe trop vite. Peut-être le surplus pour le petit chien 20 euros un peu élevé

Das Essen im Gasthaus war super, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Komfortables Zimmer.

Es ist ein bisschen zu sehr auf den gediegenen Schwarzwald-Touristen zugeschnitten. Etwas mehr persönliche Note zusätzlich zur Gastronomie fände ich gut. Das ist aber auf keinen Fall eine Generalkritik.

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer sind groß und konfortabel. Das Restaurant ist klasse und zu empfehlen. Genau so das Frühstück. Man wird bedient und steht nicht Schlange an einem Buffet. Das Angebot ist reichhaltig.

Verrassende tussenstop op weg naar Zwitserland

Prima kamer met balkon met zicht op de tuin. Restaurant overtrof onze verwachtingen: heerlijk gegeten. Ontbijt is zeer persoonlijk; geen buffet. Men serveert per tafel en je kunt aangeven of je ergens meer van wil of iets anders.

Duidelijk maken dat er behoorlijke trappen naar beneden of boven zijn en er geen lift is.

A small Hotel with excellent kitchen cosy and well maintained.

Breakfast was served and you could order extra. Breakfast Raum geraeumig and nett.

Ein sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit Balkon Sehr gutes Frühstück Nettes hilfsbereites Personal

Das wir leider dort nicht zu Abend essen konnten, wir hätten einen Tisch reservieren müssen! Beim nächsten Mal wissen wir es. 😉 Uns wurde aber geholfen, indem man uns den Italiener gleich um die Ecke empfohlen hat. Und dort haben wir noch einen Tisch bekommen und sehr gutes Essen

Auszeit

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, liebevoll eingerichtet und das Zimmer hatte einen Balkon mit sich auf die Berge. Man bekam jeden Tag eine Flasche Wasser aufs Zimmer. Es wurde darauf geachtet, dass man sich wohlfühlt.

Das Frühstück wurde an den Platz gebracht. Buffet wäre schöner.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig. Müsli, Obst, Wurst, Käse, Eier, Marmelade, Saft und verschiedene Kaffe - und Teesorten. Wir hatten abends das 5 Gänge Menü mit verschiedenen Fischgerichten. Es war nur perfekt, absolut nichts zum aussetzen. Das Personal war super nett und zuvorkommend. Auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.
