Spotelssly clean shared facilitiea. Decent shower and very comfortable bed with crisp white sheets. Franceaco is a great host happy to help with carrying luggage up to the appartment which is on the fourth floor. His cat is very friendly and even though no air conditioning big windows to open and Franceaco provided a fan. Kettle and fridge avaiable if required. Coffee and ice cream shops just below appartment fantastic!

Exceptional. The location could not be better. When have you ever stayed in a XIII building? Here’s your chance. Yes, it’s a steep climb with suitcases, but Francesco helped! And yes, you have to climb up and down, but it’s a great workout, plus you get to admire all the old doors in the building and marvel the staircase that folks have been using for several centuries. You are also located right next to an amazing cafe which serves the most delicious coffee and pistachio croissants (yes it’s the best in Genoa). Also, take your host’s recommendations to visit nearby attractions. You won’t be disappointed and they are not in any guidebooks. So go and enjoy Genoa frozen in time with its little carruggie and be surprised. This place is magical.
