Hotel Blue Empire in Shinjuku

침대 불편하다는 리뷰가 많은데 맞습니다 ^^. 근데 그걸 감안해도 위치, 청결도 생각하면 충분히 좋은 가격같아요. 기본으로 양치세트, 면도기, 샤워기커버 , 빗 제공되고요. 방안에 전자레인지 , 냉장고(크진않음), 에어컨(온도 직접 조절가능!) 까지 있어 굿. 화장실도 사이즈가 작은것 말곤 괜찮았어요. 짐 많이 없고 , 죽어도 공용화장실 싫고, 또 위치는 좋았으면 하는 저에겐 최적의 숙소였습니다. 마침 제가 방문한날 상주하던분이 한국분이셨는데 굉장히 친절합니다~~~

I’ve traveled to Tokyo a few times. First time staying at this hotel. The actual reception desk was about a block away so it was hard to do anything if you needed help. I ended up sending them an email because my personal hair towel (blue whereas their towels were white) was taken. They completely ignored the email. I had to go to the desk to buy laundry detergent a couple days later and asked if they saw the email. He just said yes but they didn’t have the towel. It would’ve been nice if they actually replied to the email. We were on the first floor so there were cockroaches outside and one that we saw inside. Overall it was pretty clean and they cleaned it every day. The shower got clogged but they fixed that the next cleaning time. The bed was very uncomfortable and took up most of the space. I tried to use the washer/dryer but it did not dry at all! I put it on spin dry for hours and nothing happened. Ended up having to wake up early on the last day to dry everything. My friend smokes and the smoking area was very conveniently placed. You’re not allowed to talk there at night and the neighborhood was very quiet. Overall location was decent as it is in Shinjuku but not really near a commonly used station. That station has a huge staircase as the only way in so it could be difficult if you have a lot of bags or difficulty with climbing steps. I wouldn’t stay again but the price was not bad so it was sufficient for our stay.
