About this house rental
Welcome to Snug Harbor! Beat the traffic: wake up Saturday on the Cape, this is a Friday to Friday rental. This family-friendly home is just a mile from Cooks Brook and Sunken Meadow Beaches, and is an easy ride to the Rail Trail. Convenient location on a quiet cul-de-sac of year-round homes with a basketball hoop and no traffic, a fenced yard perfect for yard games, grilling, relaxing and for the kids to run around safely. There is a first floor bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath across the hall, a spacious kitchen, and a dining area that opens to the private deck. The living area has lots of room for everyone! There are cards, puzzles, books, board games and DVDs. Upstairs there are three sleeping spaces - the master with a king bed, a second bedroom with a queen and a twin bed, and a third room with three twin beds - lots of room for people to have their own private space. There is a toy box, electric keyboard, yoga equipment and a TV in the kids’ space. Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and sand toys are in the garage along with yard games and sidewalk chalk. The property is in a peaceful location convenient to restaurants, fish markets, ice cream shops, a drive-in and traditional movie theater, the Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary, coffee shops, deli, bike rentals and more! Easy bike or car ride to the National Seashore (Nauset Light, Coast Guard and Marconi Beaches). Relax in the hammock after a day at the beach. Shoot some hoops waiting for your turn in the outdoor shower. Walk to one of several nearby farmstands for fresh eggs, or pick blueberries in the back yard. Easy ride to the bike path, and located off the back roads to ponds, bayside beaches and Orleans.

Snug Harbor was the perfect home away from home for our week on the Cape. Spacious for our adult family of 6, with beautiful, homey decor, and a great yard. Christine was a wonderful host, letting us know all the goings on for our week! If your goal is to hang out on the National Seashore beaches, shop up in Ptown or down in Orleans, this is the place for you!

The place was absolutely perfect. Location was great. The house had everything we needed and more - spacious, well equipped, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing gateway weekend with family. We have 2 children under 7 and there were plenty of toys, board games and yard activities. Christine even bought a bottle of wine to welcome us. Highly recommend!!

The house was perfect for our family.
Having the fenced in backyard gave us such peace of mind and having the outdoor shower, hammock and basketball checked all our boxes.
The hostess was very thoughtful on check in and we felt very welcomed.
Due to the timing of our stay, we had to do some laundry prior to check out but thankfully the washer and dryer were quick.
