Location
The Reetkate is located in the center of the tranquil village of Oldersbek, in an idyllic and prime location not far from the county seat of Husum in North Frisia. Historic walls and lovingly crafted architectural details exude harmony and romance. A children’s playground and a free natural swimming pool are located right next to the house. The thatched cottage is the ideal starting point for your excursions through the north—whether for shopping in Hamburg, Sylt, or Heligoland; for swimming at the beach in Sankt Peter-Ording; or to visit the region’s landmarks, such as the Westerhever Lighthouse, the Haubarg houses of Eiderstedt, the Dutch-style town of Friedrichstadt, or simply to enjoy the romantic sunset over the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site: A day trip to the nearby islands and Halligen or a mudflat hike is an experience for the whole family.

The vacation home has three bedrooms: two on the first floor, each with two single beds, and one on the upper floor (accessible via a wooden staircase) with a double bed (180 x 200). The open-concept country-style kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, coffee makers, and microwave.
In the living room, you can relax in front of the flat-screen TV with satellite connection. A radio with a CD player, a DVD player, and Wi-Fi are at your disposal.
The romantically decorated bathroom is located on the first floor. It is comfortably equipped with a bathtub with a shower, a sink, and a toilet. A heated towel rack and ample storage space are also provided.
A washing machine is available for your use in the adjacent storage room.
Comfortable patio furniture is available on the sheltered terrace. There is also a fenced-in garden, which provides additional comfort and security.
