This family-friendly vacation home, featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sauna, can accommodate up to six people. Enjoy a vacation under a thatched roof in our exclusive, quietly situated vacation home, surrounded by the typical North Frisian atmosphere.
The Location
Our popular vacation home is located in Ostenfeld near Husum in a traffic-calmed zone right on the village pond. Restaurants, a grocery store, a bakery, a pharmacy, and an outdoor swimming pool are all within walking distance.
From here, you can easily reach great destinations: Husum, with its idyllic harbor, restaurants, and diverse shopping options, is about 12 km away. You can reach the islands of Föhr, Amrum, and Sylt from Nordstrand, and it’s only a half-hour drive to Schleswig for a visit to the Haitabu Museum.
The Amenities
The 120-square-meter vacation home features three bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed. One bedroom is located on the first floor, and the other two are on the upper floor. Upon arrival, your beds will be made—your vacation can begin right away. There is also a modern shower room on the upper floor.
The open, very well-equipped kitchen invites home cooks to get cooking: refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, coffee maker (4-cup capacity), Senseo coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. The cozy sitting area offers space for social gatherings. The living room, with its sofa arrangement, is perfect for cozy evenings by the fireplace or watching exciting movies on the large flat-screen TV.
The bathroom with shower and large sauna invites you to relax. A washing machine is available in the utility room.
In the small, fenced-in garden, you can wind down at the end of the day with a view of the village pond.

Pets are welcome in this non-smoking vacation home. We’re happy to provide you with free Wi-Fi (fiber-optic).
An important note for our taller guests: The ceiling height on the first floor is very low in some areas. Bicycles can be stored in the adjacent storage room. Parking is available right next to the house.

Schönes frisch renoviertes Ferienhaus. Es war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben das Haus zu dritt (mit Hund) bewohnt, daher war es optimal und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung war fast perfekt, leider war die Waschmaschine noch nicht angeschlossen, was wir zu spät bemerkt hatten. Ich gehe aber davon aus, dass wir nach der Renovierung die ersten Gäste waren und Kleinigkeiten nachgebessert werden. Aber alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. Das Ferienhaus bietet einen super Startpunkt für die Erkundung der Nordfriesischen Landschaft. Vielen Dank.

Was braucht es mehr... nichts.. ein wunderschönes Häuschen, bei dessen Anblick man sofort lächeln muss... einen Garten , der dazu einlädt , sich zu erholen.. oder wie sagte Pippi Langstrumpf ! Und dann muss man ja auch noch Zeit haben, einfach da zu sitzen und vor sich hin zu schauen!! In diesem Sinne, für uns war der Urlaub das, was er sein soll..wunderbar, erholsam und inspirierend, den die Gegend ist einfach nur schön.
