Holualoa Bay Villas, Unit#105 is absolutely STUNNING! This gorgeous remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is right in the heart of Kailua-Kona, just across the street from the ocean, specifically gorgeous "Holualoa Bay".
Watch waves crashing against the rocky coastline, outrigger canoe paddlers and spectacular gorgeous sunsets right from your HUGE 280 square foot lanai. Lyman’s surf break, beaches and shopping all are close by!
1232 interior square feet of just gorgeousness. A comfortable fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer access, 2 large bathrooms, an Ocean Facing Master Bedroom with King Bed, & A Generously Sized Guest Bedroom as well with a Queen Sized Bed.
Holualoa Bay Villas is a boutique development of only 14 condos that share a large newly remodeled pool and hot tub, a covered barbecue area, two tennis courts and an exercise room.
Beautiful click track vinyl and tile flooring carry throughout the unit. Gorgeous granite countertops, wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances highlight the kitchen. The living room provides abundant space for dining and gathering.

A large sliding door connects the master bedroom to the lanai and invites the ocean breezes into the room. The master bathroom features a large vanity with dual sinks, and a large, walk-in tile shower with glass doors. Property was as it was pictured on line. Property was clean. The only improvement would be that the air vents were very dusty and needed a wipe down. Property came with most everything one would need, including beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards. The pool was lovely, the beach was across the street along with a great taco truck. Condo was small and quiet with parking. Off the main road and not too far from restaurants. But not much within walking distance. I did have to purchase a bottle of hand soap for one of the bathrooms. There was also only one extra role of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. It would of also been nice to have large filed bottles of soap and shampoo for the shower and not just one small sample bottle.

This vacation rental experience has both pluses and minuses. Plus: location and view - spectacular. Unit was supplied with several beach amenities. Smooth reservation and onsite access process. Prompt electronic communications with details. Minuses: even though some portions of the unit were remodeled, it is an old unit! and some portions still need remodeling. Mold smells in the kitchen and bathrooms. Beach amenities lacked umbrellas (although pictures "promised" them) - place like Hapuna beach does not even offer beach umbrella's rentals.

Overall this is a nice place to stay. However a cat died on the lawn directly next to the pool and outdoor grill/ kitchen. We called the property management team right away and then many times over the week. Cat wasn’t removed for five days and instead of apologizing they blamed animal control. Didn’t sit right.
