About this house rental
Newly remodeled kitchen (Dec. 2023). Two story with living space upstairs with beautiful mountain views and large deck. Mountain home is on 2.5 quiet acres of pinion and pine trees in the foothills of Taos Ski Valley. Short drive up the mountain to Taos Ski Valley and 10 miles North of Taos Plaza. Less than 4 miles to awesome restaurants. Peace and quite with access to Summer and Winter outdoor activities. Summer hiking, biking, fishing, golf, sight seeing or just relaxing to escape the heat! Hot Tub and bocce ball court on property. Incredible stargazing.
Summer activities in Taos area abound including hiking, fishing, golf, biking, white water rafting, kayaking, and some of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere.
Outdoor lawn furniture and games on site.
Come on enjoy the fresh air, quiet relaxing area, some of the best restaurants anywhere and access to the mountains and high desert.

This is a great place to relax and spend a few days enjoying the views of the mountains. Very convenient location close to Taos Ski Valley. My family and I really loved all the interiors and each room of this cabin, Tom was an amazing host and he was always ahead offering any help that would need. We will definitely plan to come back next year. We didn’t have any issue with the address; Google maps took us there without any trouble. Thanks Tom!

Very cool little house with fun amenities in a good location relative to Taos Ski Valley and Taos itself. Updated kitchen was great and well stocked. Hot tub was fun and in good condition. One of the bedrooms is not super well insulated but the provided space heater kept it warm enough. Might be tricky to get up to the house without AWD/4WD in snowy conditions. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming.

We LOVED our stay in this home's relaxing locale, a large, peaceful, secluded, wooded tract with a variety of WONDERFUL OUTDOOR SPACES! We hardly saw the neighboring homes, for us a big plus. It's a bit further out than some options we considered, but that provides darkness for some GREAT STARGAZING! Two chimineas (with lots of firewood) and a hot tub warmed us while enjoying the cosmos.
We liked the unique indoor layout. Each of us found a bedroom that suited our tastes, and the rooms were separated enough to give quiet privacy for a great night's sleep. A favorite space was the upper living area. Nothing is more comfy and cozy than sitting toasty warm on one of the sofas up there.
Tom is A GREAT HOST. He's friendly and easy to communicate with, and immediately responsive to every inquiry, both before and during the stay.
If I changed anything, it would be updating the main bathroom, but I must concede it would be a big undertaking, since it would be nice to preserve the unique decorative tile, making for a complex renovation.
Future guests: I suggest writing down access and wifi details beforehand. We had spotty cell service when we first arrived, and briefly thought we'd have to drive back to town to retrieve the info. We finally got enough signal to get what we needed, and once logged into wifi, all was well.
All in all, this rental was a great match for our family of four, and it will be NUMBER ONE on our list for any future travel to the Taos area!

We loved all the outdoor patios and decks! Such beautiful places to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. And great privacy! Tom was very helpful and easy to work with.
