About this house rental
Just 15 miles from Red River and 25 miles from Taos. Close to Wild Rivers Recreation area with great hiking, rafting, skiing, fishing nearby. New Mexico's largest fish hatchery within 8 miles. Great fishing all around. House is fully equipped. BBQ grill, fire pit, large front porch, large retractable movie screen, popcorn machine, numerous games, internet, computer and printer, cableTV, video games. Dining seating for 14 (large table for 10 and smaller table for 4). Two living room areas. 5 bedrooms with 4 containing king beds, 1 room with queen bed. Sleds and various sizes of ski bibs, bottoms and jackets available for winter/ski season.

We brought 4 motorcycles, our adult daughter, 2 grandsons and a friend of one grandson. The boys had a good time riding the motorcycles. Our daughter and myself enjoyed hiking the trail behind the house with our dogs, cooking in the very well stocked kitchen and visiting some of the wonderful sites close to us. If we travel this way again, I would not hesitate to stay here again. The house was peaceful, calming, and a great get away from everyday life.

The property is fantastic. The weather cannot be beat. Cool days and chilly nights It’s in a bit of a rural area, nice and quiet, but close to Red River for shopping, sightseeing, and dining.We have stayed at this property last summer which is why we booked it again for this summer.The owner is wonderful and if there are any concerns she will respond VERY to address any issues.We have already begun to make plans to stay here next summer.

We had such a great weekend stay in Cerro! The house is large and has plenty of room. The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen equipment, large table, large tvs with plenty of seating and a hot tub. The host was very responsive and let us have an early check in. We will be back again for another stay at this great location!

Check-In process was easy. The host called me the night before and explained everything to me. She sent over a document through text that explained everything in great detail. The host had great communication. She replied to texts immediately. The house when we arrived was not cleaned. Toilets, showers, kitchen appliances were very dirty. It had not been dusted in awhile. We had to wash all our bed sheets. The theater room had not been vacuumed. We could not use any of the popcorn machines because they were really dirty and dusty. The left side of the house was very cold at night. We had to move rooms in the middle of the night. All of this was relayed to the host through text and the host was very apologetic as she depends on a lady to clean her house. She was very sweet and offered us an extra night. We did not stay as we had to return back home
